Behind him, Becky looped her arms around Mike’s and pushed her non-existent chest against his arm.
"Mike, you’ll protect me like always right?" she asked softly, making Amon cringe in the front.
Mike on the other hand, didn’t respond as his worried gaze stuck to Amon’s back.
"Don’t engage." he said softly and Amon nodded. Yet, he couldn’t help but clench the brick in his hand tighter.
The hounds and spider fought violently with the spider having the upper hand. Every time it shot out webbing from it’s pointy butt, it would get at least one of the hounds pinned to the ground.
Deep gashes appeared on it’s tough metallic carapace which slowly leaked blood. It was pitch black in color while the hounds that had been pierced by the spider’s pointy legs shed a bright red blood that seemed to glow slightly.
Soon, the number of hounds went down to two and before Mike could say a word, Amon was already on the move.
He ran as fast as he could while the steel spider chased the remaining blood hounds. Two of it’s eight limbs were on the ground but it still managed to maintain a good speed.
Amon caught up to it as it finished off one of the two hounds and pushed the brick directly into it’s open butt.
Right at that moment, the remaining blood hound was impaled by the spider’s steel legs.
The spider let out a shrill cry as it leaped high up into the air and came back down at a high speed. Amon didn’t even bother to think of a plan as he ran from his spot.
He saw Mike and Becky running towards him, but when he saw their facial expressions, he frowned. Mike arm went up and down, as if he was trying to push something invisible into the ground.
In just a moment, Amon ducked and saw a familiar brick crash onto the ground in front and shatter into multiple pieces. As soon as he got back on his feet, he pushed his hand into his pocket and pulled out three tubes.
They were of the colours Black, Red and Yellow respectively.
Without any hesitation, he put the black and yellow ones into his pocket and paid attention to the red one. A moment later, he broke it into two pieces. One small and one long.
The small one went to the ground while he pointed the open end of the long one towards the sky.
One second, two seconds, Peeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww!!
A whistling sound entered Amon’s ears as he ran past Mike and Becky.
"You two stay back. I’ll hold it until the others arrive."
Amon said nothing and silently followed his orders. Mike was the true leader of their team after all. He was an F Ranked Awakened and every team had to have one.
Five seconds later, Amon stopped and turned around to see Mike frantically dodging the spider’s remaining six limbs. It looked like Mike could get stabbed at any moment but Amon knew that he could last for atleast a minute or two.
’He’s fast but doesn’t have enough stamina. Anyways, it’s not much of a problem since the others can arrive in time.’
Seeing that there wasn’t much for him to do other than wait, he opened up his stream chat and paid some attention to it.

Seeing a long list of 1 coin donations, he let out a sigh before spotting something different.

’Hmm... five points.’ Amon thought as he opened up his shop.
Most of the items were blocked and greyed out but there were still a few that were available.
’All of them are consumables... hmm there’s poison and sleep potions.’
As he browsed through the wares, he glanced at a team of three that was rushing towards the spider from his right. A few meters behind them were two more teams.
"Everyone is here." he muttered as he glanced at a red potion on his screen that said Health Potion.
With the system screen right beside him, he rushed forward. Becky watched as he ran further and further from her and frowned.
’When did this spineless fool become this reckless?’ she wondered as she recalled the times he would stay behind with her while Mike took care of the fighting.
And he would do it in the name of ’keeping her safe’.
’He barely looked at me today... maybe there really is something wrong with him?’
She knew that he liked her but she didn’t really have the same feelings about him. He was weak and in a world filled with danger, weaklings had no value even if they were attractive. Other than being an object for breeding that is.
Becky pouted slightly, "I’m weak too but at least I’m good somewhere." she muttered as she recalled the time he had ejaculated before she had undressed completely.
This was enough to make her give up all hopes on him.
Alas, the Amon in front of her at the moment was a completely different person.
He reached the spider’s location before the other teams did, and grabbed onto one of it’s limbs with all his strength.
Before he could make sense of what had happened, he found himself a few meters away with multiple bloody scratches all over his body.
It was only a moment later that he realised what had happened. He had been flung away by the spider without any problem.
He wasn’t too disappointed with the outcome as this was just a test. He let out a soft sigh as he watched the spider’s head get pierced by a large arrow. Then, he saw Mike pull out something from it’s skull before walking over.
’Unfortunately, I’m too weak... 100 Stream points. I’ll need to do something that makes the viewers feel strong emotions. Hmm the system is called Porn Streamer System, not Streamer System.’
Letting out a soft sigh, he nodded to himself.
’It’ll be easier if I get to a green zone... there aren’t many girls here.’ he thought as he looked up at Mike who had been intercepted by Becky.
