"Food! Food together!!"
Roars of approval erupted from the surrounding goblin crowd as they banged weapons and shields together.
The Goblin Lord allowed this for a few seconds before raising his hand. Silence overtook the crowd almost instantly, allowing him to speak.
"My fellow goblins, today marks a splendid day. Not only have our new gods bestowed upon us a fine woman, allowing us to finally resume our natural rituals, but he has also given us a hearty meal!"
Turning to Lukas and the tied woman, he offered a bow and said, "Praise be thee and our chief deity."
Although applause was held back, Lukas could see hunger on everyone's face. They weren't here to listen to their lord speak. They wanted food...
And even if that lady was dangerous, there was no possible way for her to help. They had literally bound every part of her body they could.
Which meant he was alone, with nothing more than his mouth as a weapon.
'Shouldn't be too hard, right? I mean, I already sweet talked a god into giving me useless op rewards.'
God...
Lukas couldn't help but grin a little as a wild idea formed in his head. The next instant he reigned it in, forcing the cold stoic face befitting not just a god, but a chief deity.
All he needed to do was accurately remember the name. If he tried to pose as the goblins' chief deity and accidentally said the demon's, that wouldn't be too good.
'C'mon, idiot. It's your brother's favorite game! The least you could do is know this!'
After a few eternal seconds he still had no idea who the goblin's chief deity was. Defeat settled in his mind as Lukas berated himself.
'Maybe... maybe if I just paid a little more attention...'
However, before he lost himself to such thoughts, Lukas dug his fingers into his palm until blood dripped.
Pat. Pat.
Small droplets of blood dropped to the ground, unbeknownst to everyone except himself. With the rhythmic echo of blood decorating the earth, he found peace. He found a calming quiet.
As always.
'If the god thing isn't gonna work, there has to be something else. I can't use my system, but maybe...'
A sudden look of realization crossed his face as he raised his head, seemingly staring into space. All the while, 7 goblins were approaching the 2, each brandishing a spear.
Deep in his thoughts, Lukas didn't notice them for even a second. He was far too busy trying to summon his sword.

Normally Lukas would've sworn by now. As usual, the system and Physsus were just screwing him over at every turn.
He simply couldn't swear anymore though. He was far too exhausted to.
At this point, whatever happened happened.
It was clear that the only thing Lukas could rely on was himself. Which wasn't much, all things considered. However, even he could do something as simple as plunging a sword through his chest.
Regardless of how much he messed up his previous life, there was still that.
'Ah... don't get too sentimental about dying,' Lukas thought to himself with a dry smile before correcting it once again. 'Back to plan A.'
Holding up his left hand, Lukas did his best to exude authority. The goblins furrowed their brows as perplexed expressions washed over them, wondering why their food held up his hand.
"Greetings, my most esteemed followers! It is I, Ygroa himself who has descended upon your lands." Murmured gasps of disbelief washed over the goblins. However, it was the good kind, like a kid who got their most wanted present.
Fueled by their response, Lukas continued with even more vigor.
"Yes, the rewards you've been experiencing lately are a direct result of my benevolence. Even today, I come not as some wrathful god but as a giving neighbor. Especially now that you've passed my test and shown your loyalty to the most sacred of rituals!"
Although most of the goblins were enamored by his performance, a few saw right through him. Of course, the Goblin Lord was the most vocal from that group.
"You are not our god!" He yelled as he slapped his fat belly, apparently thinking the action exuded authority. "This was not a test! It is simply our way of life! You have not bestowed upon us any gifts, we earned all of them ourselves! I know you're not even a god, you're just a poor excuse of a hero I'm gonna eat!!"
'Yeah. I'd assume you were going to be a sceptic,' Lukas thought, more irritated than anything.
There was a reason he had checked to see if he could equip his sword, and it wasn't to fight these guys. It was for the next part of his plan.
Knowing there was no way for his plan to fail, Lukas summoned the bronze sword from his mind.
Sching!!
Surprised roars erupted from this apparently divine gesture. It appeared as if the goblins had never seen a hero summon a sword from nowhere before.
Casting a smile directly to the Goblin Lord, Lukas declared, "I am a god! More than that, I'm your god!"
"Don't believe me?" Lukas asked before pausing for just a moment, "Then watch."
Plunging the sword deep into his chest, Lukas prayed that his hunch was right.
