The doping test didn't take that long and right now, Dave was sitting on the hospital bed while both of the medical specialists who had just conducted the test were standing by the far corner conversing among themselves with low tones but they didn't know that Dave could hear them, it wasn't clear but he could make out the important parts of what they were saying.
"It's hard to believe that his system is clean." The bald one putting on glasses said.
"Yeah, but the fact that he didn't flinch when we told him to or show any form of resistance gave me the hint that he might be okay."
"And I thought after these years we will find a doping player." The bald one said before turning his gaze to the goalkeeper. "But I guess all those things come naturally from him which is very surprising."
'So, everyone thinks I'm using drugs now.'
The goalkeeper slowly raised his head to see both of the medical specialists standing close to him now.
"It's about time." The goalkeeper said before he quickly got up from the bed and made straight for the door.

'Woah.' Dave reacted with a bright smile on his face.
The goalkeeper snapped out of his daze to find a blonde-haired young woman standing in front of him, she had a microphone in her hand so she had to be a reporter.
"You've been standing there for quite a while, are you okay?" She asked again.
"Yeah, I'm okay." He said abruptly with a nod.
"Okay, good to know that." She said. " You're Dave Richards right?"
"Yeah." He replied with a nod.
"Okay, do you mind sharing your opinion on a few things that happened in the match that just came to an end?"
'I knew this was coming.'
"I'm sort of in a hurry to go meet my teammates but it's okay if you keep it short." He said.
"Cool." She said with a smile on her face before gesturing to her cameraman to come closer.
After the short interview, the goalkeeper made his way back to the locker room which happened to be way quiet than he expected.
He returned to the locker room late which meant that the players were done with their locker room celebration or maybe it was just a short one this time around.
"Hey, where have you been?" Mateo asked as soon as he spotted him. "You were one of the first people to head down the tunnel."
"Yeah, but I was never able to make it here because some people had to pick me up for a doping test." The goalkeeper replied.
"A doping test?" Roland said.
"Yeah." He said with a nod.
As soon as Jonas heard that word from the goalkeeper, he raised his head and focused his ears on what they were saying.
"I think it was expected, your strength was unmatchable today and you don't even look tired as you're standing there now," Minino said.
"So, what was the result of the doping test?" Ferran asked.
"Negative of course, I would never do anything like that." The goalkeeper said before moving closer to Mateo and sitting down in the space beside him.
"Yeah, and no one should ever think of doing it, most footballers in the past were banned from the game because of it, as the years advanced, things became lighter and the players only got a few years ban but even after returning to the game, the shame of what they did and the reactions from the fans and media would be too much to bear and the player will end up retiring sooner than expected." Adolf expressed.
"If you want to have a wasted career, make doping an option and it's not only in football, other athletic sports too."
"I can't believe he wasn't using drugs," Jonas muttered under his breath before relaxing his back on his seat. "Then what is it? What is it that gave him such a boost in such a short amount of time? Or maybe the doping test wasn't done well, it has to be that."
The sky was filled with bright stars and the moon was also present to brighten the sky.
The players were currently inside the large bus heading back to the hotel.
It was a long drive there and some of the players had already fallen asleep there, that included Mateo who had fallen asleep with his smartphone on his body and his earphones in his ears.
Dave was one of those who were still asleep, he felt sleepy but the force wasn't that great to suddenly push Jim down.

'Why didn't I get a new skill?' He inquired.

'So, I still have a long way to go before I can get there.'
