Based on their encounters with various kinds of cannibals, the world's best scientists and battle experts have divided all kinds of cannibals into three ranks.
Their ranks are purely based on Agility, Strength and a combination of both.
Cannibals that were specialized in strength alone were known as C-rank cannibals.
These guys do not learn from combat but rather destroy anything they're ordered to do. These cannibals can be controlled by an S rank Awakened.
The B rank Cannibals were Agility-based creatures. They were capable of learning during combat and using their speed as an advantage to take down an opponent.
SS rank Awakened are capable of summoning and controlling these kinds of cannibals.
The A-rank Cannibals are adept at both brute force and speed. They're capable of learning and adapting and are the worst kind of cannibal to be up against.
They're summoned and ordered by the SSS rank Awakened.
Because all cannibals look like the walking dead, all of them are incapable of speaking.
But aside from all three kinds of Awakened. There is also a group of Awakened that are incapable of summoning or controlling cannibals.
These guys are called NIL, because they do not have a ranking.
Information about these Awakened and Cannibals are released on the internet to make everyone more aware of the existence of both kinds of creatures.
