Veronica Parker only played with Peter in Winter Villa for more than two hours, and then she found an excuse to leave.
She was not in the mood to deal with Nick Cage.

Veronica Parker looked up and her eyes fell on the shelf at the porch.
She got up, took out a small box inside, and opened it. It was the bracelet that Toby Cage gave her.
Veronica Parker's tears came out immediately when she put it on her wrist.

The two were not in that kind of relationship but she could not avoid it.
"I called him yesterday, but he didn't answer." Suzanne Roland said.
"Then can you contact him again? Just to see if he's all right, and don't say I told you to call him." Veronica Parker said.
"What happened?" Suzanne Roland asked spontaneously. "Did you hurt him again?"
Veronica Parker was stunned by the question that the word "you" means that even Suzanne Roland knew that she hurt Toby Cage.
"All right, I'll try to contact him." Suzanne Roland asked no more questions.
"Could you let me know then? I'm so relieved. "

"Did you tell Toby Cage your address?"
Chloe Bowen avoided for a moment but admitted, "I saw him angry the other day, so I told him."
"Then you're not afraid of me being angry?"
"You are my own daughter, so you are not going to get angry with your mother, are you?" Chloe Bowen softened the atmosphere and smiled.
"What is your purpose?" Veronica Parker asked.
"What purpose?"
"I can't believe you would be angry with me when I tell Toby Cage such an important thing!" Veronica Parker looked at her with sharp eyes. "Or do you want your child to be better exposed?"
