Chapter 27 On The Fate Of Judging People By Their Appearance
'When I see Toby Cage, I can only think of the betrayal. Yes, betrayal. It was not a normal breakup.'
"Since you're an ex-girlfriend, I'll give you a discount. Pick a pattern." The woman said generously.
"No." Veronica Parker said, turned around, and left.
Even if Toby was her ex-boyfriend, he couldn't know where she wanted the tattoos.
Maybe in exchange for his sympathy and ridicule!
That was the last thing Veronica Parker wanted.
After breaking up that year, she swore that she and Toby Cage were strangers.
Before she reached the door, she was grabbed by the wrist and dragged back--
"Ah!" Veronica almost bumped into Toby's chest, making her angry, "What are you doing?"

"How did you break up?" The woman asked Toby after. He suddenly turned his face, and his eyes were so gloomy that she was frightened so she returned to being busy, just bowing her head to work.
Veronica really did not want a need for a fortune teller, but she was getting too unlucky to find a place to get tattoos. 'Toby could just mention his ex-girlfriend in front of his current girlfriend like that. He was really unscrupulous.'

While she was angry, her cell phone rang.
Veronica took out her phone and looked at the screen. Her hand shook. The phone almost fell off, 'Kay Tours? Why are you calling me?'
She answered, "Hello?"
"Veronica Parker, you're late."

"Mr. Cage said that you can continue to work in the KING Group or the secretarial department."
Veronica had a question mark all over her face. 'Are you kidding me? I finally got out of there, and you asked me to go back? No way!' "No."
