Chapter 242 The Planner
When she got to the car, Veronica Parker was tugged hard by Nick Cage before she sat down.
"Hey!" Veronica Parker sat on his lap and threw herself into the strong chest. Before she could react, her tiny mouth was swallowed by Nick Cage's thin lips, leaving her stupefied. 'What's wrong with this man again?' Veronica Parker asked herself.
When she was almost out of breath, she was released and Veronica Parker gasped greedily sucking oxygen from the air, her eyes filled with tears, and then she heard Nick Cage's low and dumb voice. "Strawberry."
Sober-minded Veronica Parker waved her hand away angrily and turned to sit on the other side.
She was not so angry but when Nick Cage leaned lazily in her seat and looked at her with an aggressive look in her eyes, she was stunned.
It seem that Veronica Parker lost her temper, but her heart found it interesting.
When they arrived at the gate of their neighborhood, Veronica Parker didn't want to say something any more, but she was afraid of provoking Nick Cage, so she said, "I'm getting off."
After getting out of the car, she left without looking back.
When she got home, as soon as the door opened the six little ones who were playing seemed to be pressed the pause button. Two seconds later several short legs ran towards Veronica Parker.
"Mom! You are home!"
Calling Mom, they ran to Veronica Parker with their hand outstretched like wings, and Daniel was always the last to run.
Veronica Parker touched their little heads and asked, "Look at this round stomach. Have you eaten yet?"
Peter replied, "Mom has eaten!"
"We can eat fish!" Cathy said.
"And eat meat!" Julie said.
"Meat!"
Lily said, "Mom, have you eaten?"
Daniel was the last so he didn't bother to ask.
Veronica Parker laughed. "I have not eaten yet."
"Mom, do you have to work overtime?" Cathy asked.
Veronica Parker said, "No, I'm still going to work tomorrow morning."
"Then, Mom will play with us!" Peter immediately climbed over Veronica Parker.
The other five small hands held hands, and ran around their mother. Veronica Parker always felt that one Veronica Parker was not enough for six small ones.
"Wait a minute. Slow down. Slow down." Veronica Parker was finally entangled to the ground and played with her six little ones.
In the TV station, Veronica Parker went to the pantry to pour water after lunch.
Now the first season of "Children's words without bogey" was the highest-rated program in history, and its staying power was even stronger.
So they were planning to have a second season.
But the second season need a cute baby, so they must find a new cute baby.
'But does the pattern need to be changed? Innovation is a must.' Veronica Parker said to herself.
That was an issue that couldn't be decide at the meeting now.
Veronica Parker could clearly see that the director was going to put her and Lisa together as the planner.
She was also afraid that Lisa would be unhappy, so she didn't expect that Lisa would encourage her.
Whether it was because of the people above her or not, she still like this way of getting along.
Someone went into the pantry and Veronica Parker was ready to go out. Unexpectedly, the person who came in talked to her, "Veronica, what a coincidence."
Veronica Parker was stupefied it was Bella. Bella responded with a smile, "Hello."
"I hear the station is asking you to plan next season's cute baby show?" Bella asked. "This is really good. I used to know from your intelligence around Lisa that you can definitely do it, even better than anyone else."
Veronica Parker who didn't know what she meant, she said happily, "Really?" This is mainly because Lisa taught me well, otherwise I wouldn't have done anything."
"You are too modest. As long as you keep going, you will definitely be better than anyone else. How can you work under Lisa?"
"Well, I'll do a good job. So Bella, I'll go first."
As soon as Veronica Parker walked out of the pantry, the smile on her face disappeared.
