Chapter 216 The Struggle of Hiding
She felt a tight arm wrapped around her waist, her idea of escape was held back.
"Don't do anything!" Veronica Parker was extremely nervous.
"What, are you afraid that I'll kiss you? Huh?"Nick Cage's fingers slid across her soft lips. She could clearly feel the roughness of Nick Cage's fingers.
She was in a terrible situation.
Her lips were trembling.
"If you really want to do this the whole time, I'm afraid you won't even be able to eat the next day."
Veronica Parker was speechless and then clenched her teeth.
"Go to bed early." Nick Cage's thin lips brushed her ear which gave chills on Veronica Parker.
As she heard the sound of his footsteps leaving, Veronica Parker's taut nerves had relaxed.
'That pervert!' she inwardly said.
She looked at the cloakroom that had been prepared for her. There was a separate cabinet for her underwear. When she opened it, she saw that all of it were from her favorite brand. Veronica Parker looked very uncomfortable.
I couldn't believe he even knew that.
Despite all the complete preparation, Veronica Parker was not happy at all.
What did that mean?
It meant that she would be forced to live here longer in the future!
After taking a shower, Veronica Parker laid on the bed tossed, and turned because she couldn't sleep.
I wasn't experiencing stomach cramps now. Tracy Dora's medicine was really effective.
But she was still thinking about what happened in the hospital.
It seemed that she would be staying here for two more days.
She couldn't go out in time to look for Tracy Dora and she was afraid of long nights and bad dreams.
But she had no contact information of Tracy Dora.
An idea suddenly popped in her mind, she didn't have it, but for sure it was in Nick Cage's phone.
But how could she get Nick Cage's phone?
Half an hour later, Veronica Parker walked out of the room. She saw a maid and asked, "Where's Mr. Cage?"
"In his room."
If he was in his room, would she have a chance to get the phone?
Veronica Parker remembered something. She went back to her room then ran to the balcony. She looked aside and pondered her idea carefully.
The room where she lives was just next door to Nick Cage's room and the two balconies were not far apart. The bridge could be walked on.
She just stepped on the bridge and turned it over.
Veronica Parker just did it. She climbed up the guardrail then looked down, she thought that it was still a little high.
She clung to the wall and moved slowly against the corner. She was so nervous that she was almost out of breath.
When she got to the other side, she jumped gently. She felt that her heart was about to jump out because of too much nervousness.
She did not hear any movement inside so she climbed in the direction of Nick Cage's bedroom.
She used to stay here for one night, and the room still seemed very familiar.
The curtain of the whole wall hung all the way down to the carpet.
This could cover Veronica Parker fully.
She reached for the door and searched for Nick Cage. He was not in the bedroom or the living room. Didn't the maid say that he was in his room?
Veronica Parker put half her head in and found a light in the bathroom. That was Nick Cage taking a bath.
That was really a great opportunity!
Veronica Parker was on all fours, crawling like a cute cat.
She climbed to the side of the bed and looked over the bedroom. She looked around sharply and saw the black cell phone lying on the bed.
Veronica Parker didn't waste any time and, she immediately got the phone and continued to hide at the bedside.
She checked the cell phone. It didn't have a password.
Veronica Parker pressed the button open with her finger.
'Nick Cage unexpectedly did not set a password. He was too confident in himself! I think no one dares to touch the mobile phone of this kind of power.' she thought.
It was better that way!
To save her from going home empty-handed, she quickly opened the phone book and looked for Tracy Dora's cell phone number.
It was not difficult to find Tracy Dora's mobile phone number. Veronica Parker just memorized her phone number mentally.
After memorizing it, when she was about to return the home page, her finger paused as she saw a note with her name: Veronica.
