She found that Nick Cage was the only one inside the car. And neither the driver nor the bodyguard who was supposed to be sitting in front of the copilot was not there.

Her body froze and thought to herself, 'Go somewhere else? That's even worse!'
Peter was at home. Once she left the neighborhood, it wouldn't be a few hours but one night! If they'd stay in the car, she could go straight home when it's over.
She had to calm herself and ask him, "When will our relationship end? Isn't once enough?"
"If you want to end it, it's up to me."
Veronica knew she was already in his hands and had no choice. She looked away and felt unnatural. "Then make it quick."
