"Don't keep Mr. Cage waiting." The bodyguard urged beside him.
Veronica Parker looked back at the cold-faced bodyguard, seeing that he would carry her in if she didn't enter the Winter Villa.
She tightened her body and walked into the hall where she was so quiet that she could hear her own heartbeat and breathing, magnified infinitely because of fear.
"Cage. Where's Mr. Cage? " Veronica Parker asked.
" He is in the wine cellar, come with me." The bodyguard finished and led the way.
Veronica followed and wondered why Nick Cage was in the wine cellar. Was he drinking?
Why did he call her when he was drinking? He was not in a bad mood, was he?
Nick Cage was always uncertain and elusive, so she must be careful in the face of him.
