In a broad daylight, it still gave Veronica the creeps.
Veronica hung up the phone directly and decided to go back immediately.
I'm not going to say bye to Chloe.. I'll talk to her when I get back home. Veronica thought.

"Oh." Veronica looked up and saw the car parked on the side of the road not far away from where they're standing, and immediately obeyed.
Nick glanced into the coffee shop. He took out his cell phone and dialed, "I want to complete the acquisitions of the Isaiah family's company in three days."
"Yes, I see. " Kay Tours thought, am I free? Is there a relationship between the two? From what he knows about Mr. Cage, I'm afraid Isaiah's family has offended Mr. Cage.
Veronica got into the car with the door open. She turned around and saw that Nick Cage had just finished his phone call and was coming this way.
