Pulling out some beef jerky from his bag, Xiong Kang quickly soothed Lu Zixun while showing him the plucked hair, "See this, there is congealed blood on the cat hair."
As he ate the beef jerky, Lu Zixun looked closely and indeed saw a bit of dark crimson liquid clinging to it.
Suddenly, Lu Zixun understood Xiong Kang’s implication, and his whiskers twitched, "Are you saying these Abnormal Creatures tracked me through the blood on this?"

Nodding slightly, Xiong Kang stood up, stretched wearily, and showed his fatigue, "Alright, let’s get going. I barely had two minutes of rest at home after coming out of XS when you summoned me again; damn near kills a guy."
Checking his phone for the time, unaware it was already three in the morning, Lu Zixun handed the damaged nano longsword to Xiong Kang, "Fix it for me!" and without looking back, dashed off towards Qingniao University.
Returning to dorm room 521, all was silent, the entire room likely asleep.
Just as Lu Zixun was about to jump onto Lin Siyin’s bed, he suddenly stopped, turned his head, and sniffed himself, detecting a smell of alcohol and a faint scent of blood.
After a moment of thought, Lu Zixun decided not to go to bed, but instead curled up on the desk to sleep.
The morning twilight bathed Lu Zixun in its gentle light, making his orange fur even more radiant.

Lu Zixun purred comfortably as Lin Siyin massaged him.
Lin Siyin slapped Lu Zixun’s bottom, speaking in annoyance, "Why does a cat like you worry so much every day? You’re not a savior. You get hurt every time you save someone."

Following Lin Siyin’s gaze, Lu Zixun looked down at his chest and noticed a scar he hadn’t been aware of before, probably left by Ling.
Looking up at Lin Siyin, who seemed genuinely upset, Lu Zixun pondered for a moment and launched into his coquettish charm offensive.
"The leave for the activity is all set up, we’ll meet at the school gate at ten a.m. tomorrow."
