Chloe's Pov
I have never someone so handsome man like him even when I was still in London; his looks is that of a demigod or Greek god.
I was so much lost staring at him right from his black curved hair gelled and shinning, his grey eyes and handsome face. He looks extremely killing, sexy and elegant.
“Welcome Miss Chloe.” He said. His voice was firm yet sexy, calm and manly.
“Thank you.” I replied politely and walked up to him with only three inches from each other inhaling his cologne and staring really closely at him.
“Really! He is gonna be my husband soon?” I exclaimed.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t welcome you really well due to my condition.” He uttered calmly. The moment he said those words that's when I remembered he’s blind.
“What has dad gotten me into?” I thought.
“It’s no…” I was about saying when I got distracted by a man’s voice from behind.
“She’s finally here, welcome miss Chloe” The voice said making me twirl around to see who it was.
It was a young man well dressed and elegant as Brian walking towards us smiling broadly.
“He's Aaron, my brother.” My husband to be, Brian said clearing the doubt outta my head.
“That’s right, I’m Aaron Lincoln.” The man called Aaron said and walked up to us stretching forth his hand to me for a handshake.
“Chloe West.” I answered accepting the handshake.
"A sweet name for a beautiful angel." He add smiling.
"Thank you," I replied and release my hand from his.
"That's enough Aaron," Brian said to him. "This way Chloe," He added as we head to the centre table.
“Aaron, help me pull out a chair for her.” Brian said with sadness lacing from his words. I'm sure he isn’t happy with his situation he should have been the one pulling out the chair for me but due to his sight he couldn’t, I really do feel his pain.
“Sure brother.” Aaron replied and pulled out the chair.
“Thank you.” I said and took a sit watching as Aaron help Brian out to take a sit as well.
“Goodness! Why me, this means when I get married to him, I’ll be the one doing all this stuffs." I quizzed to myself almost freaking out.
“I'll leave you guys to enjoy getting to know each other." Aaron uttered and continued, "Buddy, I hope you’re comfortable?” He added referring to Brian.
“I’ll be fine bro, don’t worry about me.” He replied with a light smile.
"He looks super cute when he smile," I thought but was quick to dispute the thought outta my head.
"You can't fall in love ever again with any main so you won't get hurt or get your heart broken again." I said silently and in a whisper to myself.
“Fine then, do enjoy your night miss Chloe.” Aaron uttered and I nod my head with a warm smile across to him as he walks away leaving just my blind fiance to be and I alone.
Brian's Pov
Aaron and I got to the restaurant where I booked for the dinner date for me and Chloe. It was 7 pm still no sign of her anywhere.
We walked into the reserved VVIP sit which I brought for the night and made them do some decorations with some vocalists to make the dinner memorable for us.
I checked my wristwatch again to see it was 7:15 pm and still yet not a sign of her anywhere. I’d sent the name of the restaurant so there is no way she will get confused only if she still don't approved of my proposal fully which I can understand. No lady will wanna get married not even willingly marry a blind man.
Aaron had already excused himself to use the restroom leaving only me standing few inches away from where she was gonna walk in.
I had made everything perfect for the night, immediately she walks in, the vocalists will begin to play a romantic music and when she is getting closer to me someone is gonna drop rose petals on her with the light dim and our dinner table at the centre.
I was lost in my thought when I heard the romantic music been played jolting back to life, I looked straight up and her eyes locks with mine, she's finally here.
She looks extraordinary dashing, dazzling, elegant, beautiful and above all sexy in the blue dress. She was about approaching me when the rose petal dropped on her and the light turned on making the scene mind-blowing and romantic.
She finally got to my spot and her body spray kept making me love her the more. I welcome her which she replied almost immediately.
“How I so much missed her wonderful and sweet angelic voice” I thought feeling satisfied unlike before.
Not until Aaron had to interrupt and that’s the way I got to introduce him to her but he still went ahead introducing himself again like a gentleman.
I wish I could be the one doing that to her but an act is an act when Aaron was done pulling out a chair for her on our table, he came over to me to help like I was blind and before excusing us to enjoy our dinner date or more likely a date to get to know more about each other.
The dishes were already set and well presented it. “Bon appetit” I said with a smile and we begin to eat.
I need to keep the conversion going, “Uhmm… so I’m sure you know I am blind and do you still feel you wanna go on with the wedding, you know?” I asked wanting to know her aim for accepting to get married to me.
“I don’t know but since it my father’s wish I had to accept.” She answered.
“And do you still accept it when you can just tell your father you can’t go on with it which I really understand no woman will want to marry a blind man.” I stated and took a bit of meat loaf into my mouth waiting to hear her honest reply.
“Well to be frank, at first I was against it because I didn’t plan for marriage or anything after a bad experience I went through but after looking at it in a sensible manner, I decided to accept and here we’re having dinner together to get along.” She uttered with a bitter chuckle.
“I get it now.” I responded feeling hurt deeply but I didn't show it.
With those words I understand clearly everything as to why she agreed to go on with it; first, her dad pressured her and lastly she wanna move on to forget her hurtful relationship with the bastard who doesn't know how to treat and value a woman.
And with that been said, neither she nor I uttered a word again and the rest of the dinner was spent in silence.
