Upon hearing this, the Song family broke into an uproar!
Everyone stared at Ethan in disbelief.
It was common knowledge that Ethan had always had his eyes on the head of the family. However, no one thought he would bring it up during that point!
If Rosaline were the one who was the head of the house at this moment, it was still acceptable for Ethan to make such a demand. After all, she was getting pretty old, so her retirement would be just around the corner and soon she would give away the position to her children and grandchildren.

Bella was a stubborn person; she could pull through multitudes of struggles and challenges which she had encountered time and time again in the past.
Yet, she was actually surrendering to Ethan at that moment.
She had given her throne away!
Rosaline immediately revolted. "Bella, don't be so reckless."
Bella retorted with a cold face, "I'm not being reckless. I am just weary. Let him give it a try. However, I also have something to say now that everyone is here."
Everyone could see a noble, domineering aura exuding from her at that moment, looking exactly like Chase.

Ethan sneered, thinking that Bella was just putting on a show. He immediately took out the contract he had prepared ahead and asked Bella to sign it.

Usually only the rich and powerful were invited.
Attending the event would be a symbol of power and glory.
Only the upper class in Golden City had the honor of attending the event.
The Song family had worked hard over the years, however they were still not successful in gaining the status.
So how could the Song family let an opportunity like this just pass by?
At that point, someone frowned and squealed, "I heard that it's even harder to get an invitation this year than in the past. The number of participants this year has been reduced by half, you could only imagine how hard it is to get an invitation.
