I felt it in my soul before my body even reacted. What came out of Spider-Man, out of Peter Parker's mana, was a pure mix of desperation and selflessness. If I hadn't saved him, he was more than ready to kill himself if it meant saving as many people as he possibly could.
Whenever I looked at him, I saw a hero, someone who, no matter the injuries, the broken bones, the problems filling his life, would always get back up, no matter what, and when you have someone like me, connected to this world in ways beyond mortal comprehension, and someone like him, a beacon of pure hope and heroism, you might have influnced.
My eyes snapped towards the perpetrator of his torture, the one who was causing his previously pure white soul to diminish in light, the one who was making my anger spike in volume and intensity.
He landed with a grace beyond human, his movements a mix of skill and pure genetic perfection; he moved like with an annoying grace.
" Leave before I kill you-"
He didn't get to finish his sentence. What was once a vampire-looking guy from the 90th century was now a torso missing all of its limbs, floating in the air thanks to my telekinesis.
His libs were floating in the air in front of me, the blood coming out of them stopped in the air as it got collected into several vials enchanted to contain much more than one would think, my magical senses screaming with the amount of life coming from it.
Once all the blood was sucked out of the limbs husks remained, a shadow of their previous glory.
Just as Morlun was about to shout out in anger and pain, the realisation that I had taken his limbs only now hit his brain. I placed them back where they should be using chaos magic, but no blood or muscles were in them, only bones.
Seeing his body crumble in itself because of the little strength his body had was comical.
He tried, I even felt some of the damage I caused to him being repaired by healing factor coming from his blood, but it would be idiotic to let an enemy heal and kill you.
" Well, it was nice meeting you."
Killing him would have been to easy, so, after removing the part of his brain that would control his motory functions, and making it so it could never heal, I used almost all of my remaining mana to push his body up towards the sky, breaking trough several atmoshepres in seconds and sending him towards the general direction of the sun, the nly reason why the sound barrier wasn't broken and destroyed several of the nearby eardrums was because I controlled the wind of the area to prevent that.
Nodding, I turned towards Spider-Man. I used both rejuvenation and cloth repair to return to top shape.
Slowly raising from the ground, Spider-man looked at me warelly, actually most of the people that had surrounded us were, I could feel the cameras pointed at me, but they didn't matter, I had every part of my bodily structure changed thanks to my blood mana, or covered by items and wood armor.

I ignored it for now and looked at Peter.
" You... killed him?"
" Killing is a strong word. I sent him towards a place where he won't ever be able to hurt anyone else. If his regeneration is strong enough, then he will continue living forever in the vastness of space."
" Somehow that feels worse." His body froze, but then relaxed. He seemed angered that I had doomed someone to their doom, but he also felt happy that a danger to not only him but to whoever knew him had been dealt with, no matter how.
" If what I think is correct, more will come, and you will be in danger again, so either seek help or use this when necessary," I said while giving him a necklace.
" Break, and I will know you are in danger. I will also become aware of your position."
" Thank you for everything."
" Don't sweat it, you would have done the same, I know it."
Looking around, I saw several cameras still filming us, so now feeling a bit more pressure because of the eyes pointed a us, I was about to open a portal to move away, when once again I saw the balloon of the little girl from before floating in the air.
Sighing, I control the wind to bring the balloon back towards me.
Once I had it in my hand, I walked straight to the little girl who was looking at me with sparkles in her eyes.
" And you are small."
" Looks like you win this round, here is a reward," I said while going to my knees to reach her level and give her the balloon.
Seeing it, she smiled, hugged me and ran to her mother, who had remained stunned for the whole exchange.
" Next time, buy her a doll; balloons are too annoying, my daughter hates them too."
At the mention of a daughter, she visibly relaxed, almost everyone did, the look didn't help at the start, nor did my size and voice, but being a parent made me a good person.
I heard some helicopters coming before everyone else did, and not wanting to deal with that, I waved the little girl bye and teleported away, happy with my daily dose of heroism. ThΔ±s content belongs to π«π¬π³π’π©~π£π¦π―π’~π«π’π±
