Using the Insatiable book, I searched for engravings that would protect the holder from harsh temperatures and attacks. For the book, harsh temperatures are comparable to absolute zero and hellfire, and normal attacks are on the scale of destroying planets. However, considering how my skill level is still low, I looked up the lesser version of this enchantment and found exactly what I was looking for.
Turning to Mary while I took my newest invention, a necklace with her initials on it and made with pure gold, courtesy of the Ancient One.

Mana Shield: This necklace has been fueled with a total of 500 MP. Any damage received will reduce the amount of mana fueled to this necklace and will have to be recharged.

The face she made when she saw the necklace made my heart melt, constantly asking if I was sure this was for her. When I finally convinced her, she smiled brightly and wore it, pushing her chest forward so that everyone could see it.
Seeing her , I just smiled and readied myself, combed my now long hair, wore some of my newest clothes, and used my control over my body to try and make myself look just a bit better.
When we both got ready and I checked the time to make sure we weren't late or early, I opened a portal to the outside of the newest Fantastic 4 tower in Antarctica.
As soon as we stepped through, I felt my body freeze for a second because of the harsh weather, but then I started to adapt.

Smiling at the resistance, I knocked on the metal door while holding Mary's hand, which seemed to calm her fast-beating heart. She still has to get used to people who aren't me or the Ancient One.
Coming to open the door, I saw Susan wearing casual clothes with a smile, behind her, several people I had never seen.
" John, you came, and with a little friend." She said while looking at Mary with a warm smile.
Her body froze, her little mind thinking the back of my legs as the safest place on the face of the earth.
Not caring for Susan, I turned around and got on my knees to look at Mary in the face, seeing my eyes and touching her shoulders with my hands stopped her from having a panic attack.
" If you don't feel like it, I can get you home and leave you with Obsidian and Ivy."
She remained silent for a very long minute. I was more than ready to open a portal, make her warm chocolate, and stay by her side for the rest of the night if she just said something, but she didn't.
"No... I want to stay." She said with her usual low tone, courage spilling from her eyes as she looked at mine.
" Okay, remember, you just have to call me and I will know."
" Okay, Dad." She said while smiling
I got back up, still holding her hand, and looked back at Susan, who was looking at me strangely but still smiling.
" What do we say to nice people welcoming us into their house?"
" Thank you." She said with a small bow, making an aw come out of Susan's mouth.
" How about you go play with Obsidian and Ivy?"
She nodded instantly, and I took out my family to take care of her as I walked inside, leaving me with Susan.
"Dad?" She asked me instantly.
" Fathernal figure, I am not her actual dad, I just found her in a bad spot and saved her."
" How bad if I can ask?"
I looked at her, it seemed like the emotions that were inside of me still hadn't died down, even after all this time, the state I had found Mary in still made my mind burn with anger.
" You don't want to know."
She remained silent and followed her to the main area where the other owners and guests were.
" John has arrived," Susan said loud enough to make sure everyone heard. The first one to approach was Johnny Punch, surely corrected, already in hand.
" Hey bro, took you long enough, ain't teleporters supposed to be fast?"
" Ain't torches supposed to stay away from alcohol?"
" Fair, is the kid yours?"
" In some way, she is afraid of people, so if it looks like she needs help, please call me."
He looked at Susan and, seeing the seriousness on her face, he nodded, his smile still there but a bit more serious.
" Well, regardless, I am sure she will be fine. How about you meet the others? Not everyone is present, but I can't wait for you to meet the others."
I spun towards the voice that shouted my name, sure that no one should know me, unless he or she knew me from when I didn't have powers, so color me surprised when I saw Peter Parker without all his nerdiness just standing there.
" You know Spiderman?"
" You are the Leshy?" Peter asked me after he got closer to me and spun around me, making sure that he was right.
" The superhero who saved France, it's the name they used since you controlled plants and you had a wooden mask and wooden horns."
