The flowing and delightful music from the guzheng resonated like a stream as Ann Vaughn’s delicate fingers plucked each string, filling the space with the melody of "Butterfly Loves Flowers," enchanting everyone present.
Midway, when the client requested a change of instrument from guzheng to konghou, Ann’s performance showed no signs of unfamiliarity and remained skillful and dexterous at every note.
After each piece, she would receive applause from the crowd.
"Annie, you did great tonight. Tomorrow evening’s opening instrument will be the piano. If all goes well, I’ll be able to promote you in three days," said the manager of Aurelia, a woman with a doll-like face who’s fashionably and maturely dressed, smiling warmly.
"Thank you, manager. I will do my best," Ann Vaughn’s face blushed slightly, her fingers trembling from playing for such a long time, but she paid it no mind.
When she was little, every time she finished memorizing a medical book, her grandfather would teach her a musical instrument. He always demanded excellence in everything she did, so even though she had no talent in music theory, she would strive to meet his expectations.

But no one paid her any mind, except an elite man standing by Old Master Church who glanced at her and instructed people to clear the surrounding area.
"The ambulance will take at least twenty minutes to arrive, this person is too weak, I’m afraid they can’t wait that long." Ann Vaughn softly took Old Master Church’s pulse, who was already semiconscious, and with a flick of her slender fingers, a few Golden Needles appeared.
