The competition required assembling vehicles within ten thousand points of sacrificial power, and during this period, the performance parameters of each entry in the simulation test were showcased on the forum.
The evaluation score’s weight was calculated across multiple dimensions, including multi-terrain driving performance, cost-effectiveness, and forum player likes, among others.
The top ten players could directly receive the assembled weaponized vehicles.
Among them, the top three players’ innovative works gained a substantial lead in likes on the forum.
First place was the player "Sword Drawing Love" with the assembled Divine Flying Sword.
He named the vehicle template "Cloud Hidden Dragon."
In terms of appearance, the sword body is adorned with complex Cloud Dragon totems using Spiritual Pattern Coating, with the dragon head raised high and the tail coiled, vividly appearing as if it could break through the sky at any moment, soaring into the nine days. The Cloud Dragon totem also cleverly embeds slots where Spirit Stones can be installed for extra endurance at critical moments. The wide sword hilt is equipped with an Energy Core, surrounded by dense silver Spiritual Patterns, forming a blooming Hell Flower.
This assembly could be regarded as a simplified version of Sword Flight, allowing the player to soar in the sky on the Flying Sword.
However, the drawbacks are also apparent.
Firstly, the energy endurance is limited due to incomplete configuration, resulting in only half an hour of flight endurance. Additional endurance requires purchasing Spirit Stones from the store for charging.
Secondly, driving control poses a risk of falling off the vehicle since it involves stepping-style riding.
Mastering control over one’s balance becomes particularly crucial.
The player who released the Flying Sword template stated that he originally wanted to install two foot rings on the sword body, but doing so severely destroyed the aesthetic of the Flying Sword and increased the consumption of additional Armed Modules, which ultimately led to abandoning the idea and maintaining the sword form.
Despite the obvious flaws, Cloud Hidden Dragon received significant likes for its ultra-fast movement speed and cool appearance, ultimately securing first place on the overall leaderboard, becoming the champion of this innovation competition.
Second place was the player "I walk with the Wind" with the assembled unicycle motorcycle.
The riding area of this motorcycle is located in the center of the tire, equipped with multiple automatic balance systems, adapting to many complex environments for driving. Its greatest advantage lies in saving a great deal of Armed Module consumption.
The entire structure is divided into an inner ring for seating and an outer ring that drives the unicycle motorcycle when rotated.
Qi Sheng thought of the unicycle motorcycle design from the movie "Men in Black" he had seen before when he saw this design.
Third place was the player "Game Modifier" with the assembled power shoes.
This set of vehicle’s armed mode is considered to not exist, or the mode of the vehicle is the armed mode, with the vehicle taking the form of shoes.
It provides the player wearing them with additional movement efficiency.
The core design feature is energy jet holes in the soles for propulsion, allowing the player to make a quick start when jumping or running.
The compact size gives more configuration options, using intermediate Armed Modules, providing a higher area of armor value than the templates from the first two players.
However, the shortcomings are also very obvious, as the armor defense provided by the shoes cannot be effectively applied in combat.
This is a purely vehicle-oriented simple assembly.
But lacking armor defense does not mean this weaponized vehicle has no combat enhancements.
The power shoes under conscious control can allow players to independently decide whether to enable the boost mode, significantly enhancing mobility during combat.
If used by Magic System players, they can also utilize the power shoes to quickly leap back when encountering close combat.
The performance in the evaluation video was excellent.
These three weaponized vehicle templates consumed less than ten thousand points of sacrificial power, surpassing other innovative ideas both in comprehensive evaluation and forum likes, earning the top three awards in this innovation competition.
After the top ten were announced, Qi Sheng had expended a total of 98,320 points of sacrificial power for rewards distribution.
After the event ended, player enthusiasm for discussing weaponized vehicles on the forum did not wane.
New vehicles continue being developed.
For example, many players with close-knit groups considered the high price of individual vehicles and their usual collective actions, so they pooled funds to create a weaponized vehicle capable of carrying multiple people for one person.
This gave birth to many imaginative vehicle models.
For instance, the "Dragon Truck," a low-cost version of the Black Armored Snake Mount designed with speed as the core metric, equipped with 12 power tires and multiple carriages, can carry 80 players at once. Overloaded transport is not a concern, since there are no overload metrics in Monster World, so multiple floating seats were designed outside the Dragon Truck, making the sight of a fully loaded vehicle traveling quite amusing.
This vehicle’s only drawback is its weak defensive power, unable to charge and crash through battlefields like the Black Armored Snake Mount, making it susceptible to structural collapse and resulting in the vehicle breaking apart upon external attacks.
Alternatively, there is the Steel Truck designed with defense as the core metric.
This design is specifically for Stone Statue Players, with the truck front equipped with intermediate Armed Modules aimed at ramming a truckload of stone-statue ghost players into enemy-dense areas, assisting stone-statue ghost player frontal charges.
There are many other interesting multi-rider vehicle designs.
But these designs consume more than ten thousand points of sacrificial power, making them ineligible for this innovative competition’s evaluation despite their high practicality.
