Black Armored Snake, players of the Artifact Spirit Stream, and those from Melee Schools stand behind the stone-statue ghost players as the second line. The Magic Defense Stream and Control Stream take the third line... Magic players provide the fourth line, players with Thunderbolt Soul cover the flanks of the battle formation, and all members of the Drunken Guild take the rear to fend off the Black Tide Demonic Spirits coming from other directions and protect the magic players.
Divine King: Now, advance towards the Grey Mist Forest!
With the Divine King issuing the command, the already assembled Joint Task Force marched towards the Grey Mist Forest.
As the tempestuous Black Tide neared the team of players, it acted as if provoked, with the speed at which it spawned Evil Spirits suddenly accelerating.
Black Tide Evil Spirits surged forth like dumplings being dropped into boiling water, as the roiling black mist conjured up wafts resembling ocean waves, aggressively crashing towards the Joint Task Force.
Divine King: Magic Defense Stream players, raise shields above your heads, quick!
Following the Divine King’s roar in the voice channel, players from the Magic Defense Stream promptly looked up, releasing their Special Abilities. In an instant, numerous Light Shields emerged above the battle formation, swiftly expanding and interconnecting to form a defensive barrier composed entirely of energy.
The oncoming Black Tide was repelled by the shield barrier, followed by a fierce sweep of the Black Tide Demonic Spirits.
A titanic battle was on the brink of erupting.
Divine King: Players of Rushing Thunder, activate your Special Ability to guard the flanks against the assaulting Black Tide Demonic Spirits.
After the order was given, players embedded with Thunderbolt Soul flanking the battle formation crackled with electricity, their Special Abilities transforming them into glowing spheres of thunder and lightning, slowly rolling forward with the team. Any Black Tide Demonic Spirits that made contact with their electrified forms were instantly shattered and absorbed.
Divine King: Stone-statue ghost players, charge forward to attract Evil Spirit fire, other melee output players continue to advance in formation, protecting the magic players in the back row. Don’t let the Evil Spirits break through our formation. Magic players listen for my command to attack together; we’ll push forward bit by bit.
Divine King: Next, Magic Defense Stream players improvise, those with Perception turn it on to lock onto Ghost Babies, and shield your front-line allies with a Light Shield before they detonate. Other players continue to follow commands.
Divine King: Magic players get ready, those with Avatars activate them, 3, 2, 1, release your Skills to clear the path.
Suddenly, countless Ink Flame Fireballs arose above the battle formation, streaking through the sky like a Meteor Fire Rain, descending upon the tumultuous black mist.
A single round of assault cleared a vast swath of the black mist, opening a pathway for forward progression.
Divine King: Stone-statue ghost and Monster Stream players, accelerate forward, quicken your pace, keep the gap open, don’t let the Black Tide close it. The magic players in the back prepare for a second wave of output to clear the path.
After several exchanges with the Black Tide, Ye Xing, who had become adept at grasping its attack rhythm, seemed to handle the initial confrontation effortlessly.
As a unified command leader, he was well aware of his role.
The capabilities of different Black Tide Demonic Spirits, the attack rhythm when the Black Tide surged, the Special Abilities of different Life Souls, the advantages of different Star Vein Combinations... these were all pieces of knowledge he needed to master before commanding the battle.
Only then could he better define the roles of different player factions in group combat.
Without mastering these fundamentals, the purpose of unified command would be lost.

Ahead lay a dense forest with towering trees. Continuing forward, the battle formation was bound to be fragmented by the woods, greatly impeding advancement.
Ye Xing had already thought of a solution to this problem when studying the map before the battle commenced.
He promptly issued a command through the local voice channel:
"Magic players, target the forest ahead; start a fire to ensure our battle formation can keep advancing."
With the command given, Fireballs rose and fell into the forest.
Fueled by the gale that accompanied the Black Tide, they turned into raging Ink Flame fire dragons that spread at an astonishing rate.
The sky ignited with flames that turned half the sky a blazing hue.
This also inflicted continuous scorching damage upon the rampaging Black Tide within the Grey Mist Forest.
The blazing Ink Flames reduced a large number of trees to ashes, with the air quickly filling with a pungent smoke mixed with the aroma of charred wood.
The fire grew wilder like a voracious beast opening its immense jaws, engulfing its way deeper into the forest.
Along the path, tree trunks caught in the Ink Flames crackled, and thick smoke billowed, obscuring the sky as if shrouded by a heavy black veil.
The entire forest seemed like an immense Melting Furnace, with a multitude of plants already withered and distorted by the Black Tide’s corruption dying off.
It was at this point that Ye Xing instructed the team to slow their advance, waiting for the smoke to clear.
Finally, the flames gradually died, and the gale dispersed the thick smoke.
All that was visible were the ashes and remains of trees left from the fire.
With the dense trees that had blocked their path destroyed, the visibility dramatically improved, and Ye Xing then gave the order to continue the advance.
