It looked surprised seeing me surviving.
It had hidden its power well; the attack felt as strong as it is. It’s mainly due to the seamless combination of the inherited energy, law power, itornas power, and the physical power.
This man is from the mermen race of the deep sea. These people have strong physical strength, and they are very good at using the energy to strengthen it even further.
It remained in its place for a fraction of a second, before coming at me like a blur.
"You are a lot more powerful than it is said," it said as it appeared in front of me. "The same," I replied with a bloody grin.
There is limited information about it, and it didn’t state its strength.

Attacks came without stop, and I did nothing other than defend. I wanted to use my full power as these attacks are injuring me, but I hold back.
It’s not the time, and yes, things are dangerous, but I am defending. It was not able to breach through my sword.
I could tell. It is frustrating, as it is trying different attacks, but none of them are hitting me, and the injuries its causing are not enough to injure me seriously, much less critically.
More attacks came, and I kept defending. Improving slowly at defending until I am able to withstand the defence without getting injured.
It is also not sending me back faster as it used to.
Minutes passed and I defended another attack, but this time, something surprising happened. I wasn’t sent back like a broken doll, as I had done hundreds of times.
Instead, I took the rapid steps back. It surprised me so much that it didn’t react for a moment.
"You’re powerful, I will give you that, but you’re severely mistaken. If you think you could defeat me with such power," I said as I stopped after eleven steps.
"I will prove you wrong," he replied after a moment of silence and flashed behind me.
I defended once more and took the steps back, but it attacked at the first step and then again and again.
It kept defending, taking steps back.
It’s hard; every attack of it seemed to have the power of a tsunami that wants to crush. Even 10% of this physical power leaked into me, and it would crush me like pulp.
I am envious of its physical strength. If I had such strength, with enhancements from my inheritance, I would have crushed it already.
My strength lies in my inheritance and adaptability.
