A few seconds after that, the resources came out of them.
Seeing them, my eyes couldn't help but flash in greed. They are amazing, that I wanted to get my hands on them.
Many of those resources could help me tremendously. If I had them, I would not for the resources for years. I have a lot of resources, but with them, I would be less worried.
I controlled my greed and saw the resources entering the platform, and it made me relieved.
Because they are entering the way, they should.
"Is everyone ready?" asked Garadil and everybody nodded. Some with a smile, others with a faint nervousness.
The platform activated with two buzzes ringing out. One for them and one for us.
The resources inside the platform begin to mix and merge. While the ropes binding us melted and began to get transformed into the runes.
Not common runes, but ancient runes. There are no common runes appearing out of melted fluid.
'I wonder who forged it?' I couldn't help, but question seeing it. It is too complex to be forged by the Prime.
The expertise it requires could not be gained by the Prime. Even fossils that had lived for centuries and even millenniums.
A Silver Prime did it.
If I had, the skill and power. I would be tempted to forge it. If someone comes to me with an offer, this platform will give me some things, too.
It can help, the Prime to level up to Silver Prime.
When that happens, a unique type of energy comes. Very precious, and the only thing that is capable of capturing it. That energy is useful to not only the Primes, but also the Silver Primes.
There may not be only Silver Primes, but the entire organization behind this.
Many people bound here belong to the organizations of the fossils, but they are about that. The same thing is true for organizations, seeing they will be getting a Silver Prime.
A Silver Prime is far more valuable than the Primes. Some organizations wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice the people for it.
I pushed those thoughts and focused.
Currently, the resources are mixing, and runes are spreading around us. It seemed like we were not bound anymore, but we are, and these restrictions are even more powerful.
The original maker of the platform had thought about all aspects. Once one is bound in it, they could forget about getting out of it.
Even Silver Prime might not get out. That's how powerful this thing is.
That is why; I will need to be very careful when I begin. I can not let discover me, because this thing will kill me; the moment it does.
Soon, the runes covered every part of my body and everybody else.
Even the bodies of seven bastards got covered in runes. More densely than ours.
These runes are powerful. One could feel the massive power they have held in it. It is why, if I let the platform do what it wants, I will get a very painful death.
So, I want to start taking action, but it's not the time yet.
The minute passed, and then another and another, before finally, what I had been waiting for had started.
The formation buzzed again, and the resources began to enter into their bodies through the first.
The first state of breakthrough in all nine grades is the same. In the first state, the core absorbs the resource, but in the Prime, it absorbs energy and essences at once.
Technically, the Prime breakthrough could happen without any resources.
It's an extremely risky process with the laws involved. The chances of success are small, but those who succeed through that method gain massive benefits.
There is also a fusion method, that uses the best of both. Very few, but very rare resources, along with the law.
I didn't immediately act. I looked for a few seconds. To be really sure that everything was making a breakthrough, despite knowing they were.
Finally, I was one hundred percent sure, and I took action.
A faint stream of forbidden power came out, but the thing is. It's not my own forbidden power, but the forbidden power, this platform had been forged from.
If I used my own forbidden power. It will notice, so I used its own forbidden.
This is the only flaw on this platform. The forbidden power, it is made. It is the only thing, it doesn't sense, as long as it is in small amounts.
If it is a high amount. It will not stop it, but it will alert those that are making a breakthrough.
Other people couldn't do this, because everything is about them sealed. My core isn't, at least not fully, and not for forbidden power.
It is made of that damn thing and has thousands of times more forbidden power than this thing.
I didn't let myself get happy as the forbidden power was still in my body. I didn't bring it out.
I tested a few things, before ever so slowly bringing it out into the runes covering me.
I was prepared for them to react and had a contingency ready, but they didn't. Seeing that, I couldn't help, but take a sigh of relief.
I moved the forbidden energy through the runes. My destination is the core of the platform.
Reaching it is hard. Seeing this is not my forbidden power. The reason, I could control it was because I had been studying it for months.
It had been nearly three weeks since I found the first forbidden crystals.
Which is nearly four months in time dilation. In those four months, there were at least five clones working on it. Trying to gleam its mysteries.
I had only scratched the surface of it.
For most, it is not much, but I know forbidden power. Has been for decades. Over a century, when considering time dilation.
So, even the surface-level understanding is enough for me to control it.
The control may not be as fine as my own forbidden power, but it is fine enough that I should be able to finish this job.
