I have sensed the battle.
I have sensed many in the path few hours, but this one is different.
Carter is fighting it, and he doesn't seem to be winning it. He seemed to be on the defensive.
The opponent he is fighting is the same. I had sensed him fighting earlier when I entered this small region.
I wanted to run away, but I found myself stealthily moving toward the battle. Sensing the battle clearly with each step, I took toward it.
Soon, I got close enough, that I could sense the battle clearly, and my expressions turned worse.
Earlier, I knew he was on the defensive, based on his energy and other things, but now I am seeing it. I can see, he is going to lose it.
Currently, he is barely hanging, but the way, his opponent, chipping his advantages; he won't be lasting long.
I would rather not interfere because I don't think Carter will for me, but it wouldn't look good on me if he died.
Not only because I won't be able to return to the taurus, but also because many primes had seen me in the area. If Carter, died, it wouldn't look good on me.
Still, I didn't interfere in the battle.
I hope Carter will be able to pull through on it on his own, but I still moved closer stealthily.

Sometime later, I had stopped. I had got close enough to the battle that I could react on time.

The other Prime looked pretty angry and the way she was attacking, it's clear that she wants to harm him badly.
Such emotions aren't without a reason. Something must have happened.
I don't have much care about it. I would be more than happy if he was able to defend against her without my help. She is a pretty powerful Prime with potential; I don't want to make her my enemy.
Seconds passed, and my expressions became worse and worse. All the hope I had that he would be able to pull through on his own had vanished.
I am now waiting for the right opportunity to interfere.

I was busy, hoping to find more forbidden power crystals, but this battle attracted my attention.
Now, I will be making an enemy or at least worsening my relationship with the powerful Prime.
A few more seconds passed when Carter understanding his plight made a run.
A useless move. He knows it as well, but it is better than continued fighting that will kill him sooner. Most importantly, he gave me the best chance to save him.
I didn't waste any time and burst out with the full power of the burst and shot up.
They sensed me immediately, and hope lit up in Carter's eyes, while the eyes of the Prime Varina, become even more angry.

Carter reached me and stopped as I asked him to, and five shields appeared in front of me to defend against the attack.
She didn't stop seeing me appear. Instead, her attack had become even more powerful.
Her fiery spear clashed hard against my shield, with the explosion of power of the Law of Fire.
The clash was such that it sent a massive shockwave and nearly made me take a step back.
I looked at the shield, burning brightly with the Law of Fire, trying to consume them.
It is a powerful law, but the one, I am most capable of defending against because of my own rule of the sun. I had also bettered my defenses against the law, after the data, I got from the corrupted.
"Prime Varina," I greeted.
The woman seemed to be in no mood to reply as she moved to attack again with even greater power.

Her attacks clashed against my shield fast. Filled with the power of the law of fire that wants to incinerate my shields to the ashes.
It is an amazing law; it reminded me so much of my law of the sun.
If I could use that law now. I wouldn't have been just defending against the attacks of this Prime. I would have been attacking.
Seconds passed, and she kept attacking before she suddenly stopped.
"Thank you, Prime Varina," I thanked.
"Prime Arys, I didn't think, you should interfere in my business with Carter," said the woman.
"I don't want to either, but I am staying at Prime Carter's organization," I replied, and the anger in her eyes flared.
"I am sure, whatever grievance you have with Prime Carter could be solved amicably," I stated.
There was no reply for a few seconds before the woman opened her mouth.
"Sure, I could spare his life. As long as he gave back what he took from me," she replied, looking angrily at Carter.
"I didn't take it from you, Prime Varina. I got it by risking my life," refuted Carter immediately.
'Arys let's attack her. I am confident that with you, we will be able to deal with her,' he said telepathically.
"I have no interest in that, Carter. I helped you, because I felt a slight debt to you, which is more than paid."
"If you don't give her what she wants. I will leave, and you will have to deal with her on your own," I replied, and I could see anger and irritation in his eyes.
'Nothing is more valuable than your life, Carter. Besides, I don't think, we will be able to handle her. She is stronger, than she is letting on,' I added telepathically.
It is not a lie. I feel like, she is to be hiding her power.
He looked at me intently and unwillingly before nodding with gritted teeth.
