The strings didn't freeze it, but it had made it very slow. Enough, that I would be able to kill it without a burst.
The next moment, my sword went through its eyes. Killing it in an instant.
A moment later, the body of the monster disappeared.
I sighed and walked toward the plants around the cavern. These plants are fine; they were able to bear the energies of the attacks that reached them.
Less than a quarter of the energies had reached them.
Like most powerful energies, the energies here also react to the energies. They move quickly to destroy them or absorb them.
It is why, the places like these. The soul sense is extremely important, but even that is suppressed here.
As I harvested the resources, I looked at the woman.
She is coming toward me, but her speed is slow as she is harvesting all the resources she is coming across.
She had yet to even sense me despite having the same level of strength as me.
So, I used my strings and harvested all the resources in the cavern, before walking out of it. I even harvested resources from a couple of caves before she finally sensed me.
I could see her expression changing and her becoming more cautious, but she didn't stop what she was doing.
Though, I could see her focusing her soul sense on me.
I acted like I had sensed it a few seconds later to her surprise, and moved toward her, while she waited in caution. Ready to defend, if I had other than good intentions.
Soon, I made a turn and saw her waiting.
I stopped at my place and looked at her. She is a stone-skinned woman, looking to be in her mid-twenties.
Her name is Hava Karak. A prime from a Silver Prime organization.
"Prime Karak," I greeted. With a polite smile. "Prime Arys," she replied with cautious eyes. Which she is not even trying to hide.
"I just need some information. I would be grateful if you would provide that to me," I said.
"That wouldn't be a problem," she replied, and crystal came floating toward me. I did the same.
"I had come here with Prime Carter of Taurus. He had received news that Micheal Zaar had spotted here."
"Is it true or just another rumor?" I asked and sent a box to her.
Nothing is free, and people are more receptive to answers when they get something. Besides, this isn't secret information.
As long as I find enough people, I will know, but since they are searching for me.
I like to know about it as soon as possible. So, I could be prepared.
"They didn't spot him. It is said that one of the tools that could sense forbidden power responded in scarton," she replied.
It made me relieved, but I put a faint disappointment on my face for a moment.
"Mind telling me which direction, scarten is?" I asked, and there was a question on her face.
"There was a storm. I had escaped through the jump pad," I replied.
"I have given you a detailed map. You will be able to find it," she replied and walked away.
I didn't stop her, instead focused on the information and I have to say, it is quite detailed.
Now, I finally know where I am, and I didn't waste any time in walking toward it. My destination is scarton.
She might be lying about it, but scarten is the most dangerous area in the pakalim caves and also the one which is filled with treasures.
It is one of the areas of the pakalim caves that people prefer the most.
The jump pad had saved the days of travel. Still, I will need two to three days to get there.

Common sense told me, I shouldn't go there.
It is where those powerhouses will be; the ones that could kill me, but it is also where I will be able to find the thing that triggered the forbidden power-sensing thing.
I wish I could ask her why she is moving away from it.
There could be a couple of reasons, the first being the danger. Many desire the forbidden power, but not all have the wish to die for it.
There might be other reasons. Like she was lying and the information she gave me, was wrong.
It is why, I am going to get information from other people as well. I am sure, I will find one or two of them, eventually.
I don't like such uncertainty, but what could I do? I shook my head and walked ahead.
I didn't take the same path as the woman. She had harvested everything on her way. I choose different ones.
There are thousands of caves each interconnected with another.
A few hours passed by as I moved through the caves while my strings harvested the resources.
I am moving quite fast, at least compared to the woman. Strings make it easy, but still,
I don't want to make a mistake like I did earlier and get discovered by the monster. The one fought earlier, I was able to bear, I won't be that lucky forever.
I had come across a few monsters, but I was able to avoid them.
I wanted to fight some, but I controlled the urge. These caves are dangerous; I cannot give in to my feelings.
Another hour passed when I stopped as I reached the entrance of the cavern.
This cavern is different from the others I had come across till now. It's bigger, but most importantly there are buildings here.
It is the first time I have come across artificial structures here.
I looked around before focusing on the tallest building. There are people here, and they are in that building.
