It sucked another drop a few seconds later and then another, getting faster and faster
till it began to take two drops and, sometime after that, three drops.
The speed increased with time. I watched it all while keeping my eyes on the data flashing in front of me.
"Things at the top are unstable," I said, looking at the data, but I did nothing. I can't do anything; I did what I could, and now it is just wait and watch.
Hours passed, and it kept absorbing resources.
Its color changed from colorless to dark purple it has right now. There is also a metallic shade to it, as most of the resources were metallic.
I have studied hard and researched, but I don't know what the end result would be.
Whether it would succeed or not. If it succeeds, will it do what I wanted, or will it turn into something else?
I don't know, but it's something I have to do. It is the only choice I have.
Another hour passed when the slime stopped absorbing the energies and the resources. It had absorbed quite a lot of them.
I thought it wouldn't absorb more than 70% of them, but it absorbed 96% of them.
It is a good thing. I didn't look at resources and prepared for every circumstance.
Seconds passed, and everything was quiet when suddenly the core buzzed and shone like the sun, with the light spreading through every part of it.
