Livia, who had been laughing earlier, was now sitting down, still holding her own piece of Semina Vitae in one hand.
Nathan let out a quiet groan, still chewing.

He sighed, eyes staring blankly at the trees ahead, while his ears tuned in to the conversation between Domina and Livia.

Nathan didn't move. His facial muscles were numb.

Nathan closed his eyes and chewed in annoyance. Are they seriously talking about me? he thought.
