Once there, he lay down and stared at the ceiling.

Validia watched as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
Nathan slowly looked up at the sky and let out a long sigh.

He walked down to the river, crouched, and scooped up water with both hands.
Fresh. Cold. Slightly bitter.

He stood up, then hopped lightly across the shoulder-width river.
There, a Sapoa tree stood like a living vending machine.
With one motion, the Imagery Axe appeared out of thin air—almost dramatic, if Nathan hadn’t been completely naked.
He swung it at the trunk.
Thick, red sap immediately started oozing out.
Suddenly, soft footsteps approached from behind.
"Nathan..." Velmora’s voice was quiet.
Her slim figure stood awkwardly beside him.
Nathan was a bit startled, but kept a straight face.
"You here for sap too?"
"Wanna bathe?" Nathan asked, half-joking.
Velmora shook her head quickly, cheeks reddening. "No... I just wanted to wash this..."
She tugged up her dirty crop top, stained with soil and leaves.
The thin fabric lifted slightly, revealing her flat, pale stomach.
Inside, a small voice screamed: "DO NOT STAND UP. DO. NOT. STAND. UP."
After gathering enough Sapoa sap inside a broad leaf, Nathan sat by the stream.
He dipped his underwear and jogger pants into the water and began scrubbing gently with his fingers.
The water was cold. The sap was slippery.
And his mind... dirty.
He glanced over at Velmora, now walking with her leaf full of sticky sap.
Her V-shaped lower torso shimmered under the morning light.

Nathan whipped his head away, but it was too late.

From afar, Validia simply hummed—enjoying the show.
The water flowed. Leaves drifted down.
And amidst all the absurdity, Nathan realized one thing:

But suddenly, the sound of water splashing reached his ears.
