I was in the bathroom, looking at my reflection in front of the mirror. My face was red, and my heart was beating furiously. I can’t still imagine the words said by Reign earlier. I was having hesitations if he was telling the truth or having a good time in that situation.
I took a deep breath and removed that thought from my mind. I retook a glance at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a denim dress above the knee and a black belt that was tightening my waist. I don’t know where Reign and I are going, and he chose me to wear this dress.
“Date?” I asked myself while blushing. I bit my lower lip to suppress my emotions. Reign answered yes when I asked him if he loves me. Should I believe him?
Yes. I felt something for Reign, but I don’t want to expect things because he showed it. I want to know if what Reign was saying is true, but I feel he is not lying.
He already saved me countless times, and last night, he did not do me any harm or things such as harassment. Instead, he makes things enough to help me out with the dilemma I was facing last night. Does Reign love me?
I looked at the bathroom door when someone was knocking on it, “Are you done?” it was Reign’s baritone voice. I startle when a scene flashes inside my mind.
“Forget what happened last night, okay? Don’t be rude,” I whispered, trying to calm myself and to warn my mind. If this will always come into my mind, especially when I’m with Reign, I might not be able to control the embarrassment.
I sighed and took one more glance at myself in the mirror before walking to the bathroom door. When I opened it, I saw Reign standing behind the door; he wore a casual black shirt and faded pants.
Reign reaches his hands in front of me, “You look stunning in that simple dress. You never disappoint me, my woman,” I looked at him before holding his hands. I was surprised when he brought my hands closer to his face and suddenly kissed it. Because of embarrassment, I just averted my eyes away from Reign.
My God! I still can’t believe that he loves me. I wanted to ask a lot of things, but I couldn’t get the timing. Every time I attempt, the tip of my tongue was receding inside my mouth.
Reign walk ahead, and then he gently grabbed me to walk beside him since he was holding my hand. When we are in front of his room’s door, he immediately opened it.
“Where are we going?” I asked when we got out of his room. I was flustered at the thought that I slept next to Reign last night.
“Date,” he directly said and took a glance at me, “But I will first talk with Shino,” he then put his eyes in front of us.
“Can I come?” Reign suddenly stopped walking, and since he was holding my hand, I also stopped.
“Why are you interested in him?” asked Reign, then stared at me. I averted my eyes. He suddenly put his hands on my chin then made me turned in his direction, “Answer me while looking at my eyes,” I could do nothing but stare into his blue eyes. I swallowed before answering him.
“I’m not interested. I want to thank Shino because he took care of me while I was in his arms,” Reign’s forehead suddenly furrowed. I felt his grip tighten on my hands, and I think there was something wrong with my answer.
“You are in his arms?” I don’t know, but Reign’s tone is like a lawyer scanning a suspect. I stared at him. His thick eyebrows knitted together while looking at me intensely with his blue eyes, his jaw moving along with his heavy breath.
I felt nervous because I didn’t know what I would answer to the question, “Yes?” I answered without being a confident reason to increase the frown on his forehead.
“What the heck?” Reign let go of my jaw and hands, then he immediately turned away from me. He put his two hands on his head and ruffles his hair; what’s happening to him?
“What’s the problem?” I was surprised when he turned his face on me. Reign put his hands down and look at me. I was even shocked when tears are forming in his eyes.
“Did he hugged you?” Reign asked in a shaky tone. Why is he fighting with his emotions? I was about to answer, but he spoke again, “Did he hold you? Kissed you? Stroke your hair?” he asked me one question after another. I frowned as I stared at Reign.
“What are you thinking?”
“Did he hold you?”
“No!”
“Then why are you interested in seeing Shino? I also noticed yesterday that you were looking for him. I even felt threatened because of him. Do you like Shino?” I was surprised by what Reign was saying.
“Why are you acting like this?” Reign did not answer and stared at me. His eyes were warm looking at me, and he immediately bit his lower lip, causing me to see how kissable his lips are. He turned away from me and took a deep breath.
“Are you sure that he didn’t hold any part of your body or stroke a single part of your hair?” Reign asked again but in a calm voice. I stared into his eyes. I don’t know, but I can see them waiting for my answers while intensely staring at me.
I let out a frustrated sigh. I don’t know what I should do! I was shocked by what Reign said earlier. He confessed that he loves me and I should be the one to ask him many questions, but why does he ask more than me?
Why is he acting like this?
“Yes. Shino didn’t touch me. What’s there if someone else touches me?” I asked. Reign didn’t bother about my words, and he completely ignores them while reaching for my hand and gently grabbed me to walk.
He takes a look at me, but I suddenly felt shivering down to my body. Reign’s eyes were showing dominance, “No one else should touch you, even a small part of your body because,” he suddenly stopped pulling at me and stared, “I don’t want anyone else holding what’s mine,”
“Huh?” he suddenly let go of my hand and faced me again. Reign touched my cheeks and immediately brought my face closer to his. His blue and deep eyes stared at me intensely, making my heartbeat furiously, wanting to get out from the cage.
“Are you sure that Shino didn’t touch something from you?” he asked with a gentle voice. He was like asking me to tell him that he didn’t. Besides, Shino didn’t do anything. Wait, he pats my head, but Reign doesn’t need to know about this anymore.
I nodded. I was flustered when Reign suddenly smiled and then gently pats my head, “That’s good. I don’t want to be jealous. I become ruthless when it’s about you,” he then suddenly peck a kiss on my lips.
I was startled but frozen on my own feet. Is Reign jealous when at the time when I was trying to protect Shino?
