“A rat poison,” a familiar voice. I slowly opened my eyes. The light blue decor dawned on me. Where am I? I felt a painful sensation in my throat.
“Yes, Mister Jaccobich. It’s a rat poison that can end a lady’s life if not treated promptly. Fortunately, I am here on the island. If not, you may be mourning this woman right now,” I looked at the source of the voices.
Two people were standing near the edge of the bed I was currently lying on; one was unfamiliar wearing a tuxedo while a stethoscope was hanging around his neck, and the other was Reign wearing a dress shirt.
They didn’t notice that I was awake, “Yes. Thank you so much, doctor. You saved my woman’s life. Good to know that you’re a poison expert. So how is she? Any prescriptions?” Reign asked while looking at the doctor thoughtfully.
I don’t know, but as I look at Reign’s side view, my heart is pounding hard. This sensation is the first time I feel like this. I don’t know, but I don’t want to admit that my suspicion is correct. I don’t want to admit to myself what I truly feel.

She swallowed everything with anticoagulant, and she’s lucky enough to survive for five minutes,” intriguingly said by the doctor, then he suddenly turned in my direction, “Seems like your woman is wide awake,” Reign suddenly looked at me, and when he heard what the doctor said.
Reign immediately walked towards me while leaving the doctor unanswered. I was surprised when he approached my bed and immediately hugged me tightly. I don’t know, but I feel like Reign is shaking.

I want to speak, but I can’t because it feels like something painful is stuck in my throat every time I open my mouth. Reign caresses my hair, and I was startled when he suddenly glued our foreheads together.
Reign hadn’t removed his hands from my cheek. He gently squeezed it, and I could do nothing but stare into his blue eyes. I could not move because my face was locked in Reign’s hands, and I could also smell his fragrant and menthol breath.

Reign took another glance at me before switching his eyes to get his phone inside his trousers pocket. He pressed a number and immediately put to a direct call. Reign put the phone he was holding to his ear.
Reign looked back at me as he waited for his call to be answered on the other line. The ring sounded so loud that I could almost hear it. Only two rounds of tone and his call were immediately answered on the other line.
“Where are Blaze and Blade?” Reign asked immediately as his blue eyes were looking at me. His free hand was still holding me. I couldn’t take my eyes away from him, and I don’t know, but I want to stare endlessly.

I have so much to say and ask, but why this is the time I got poisoned? I wanted to open the topic about my sister and how I wanted to work inside his house to give me the favor of protecting my sister.

“I will stay at this island for your sake,” I almost lost all my breathe when Reign suddenly smiled at me, “I will be your caretaker for the whole time until you recovered from the poison,” I was even more dumbfounded when he suddenly kissed the tip of my nose. Seriously? Is it hard to tell that he’ll be the one to take care of me without exceptional movements?
