Stepping into their small home, Millie, still holding his hand, haphazardly kicked off her shoes and spotted Misha resting in the living room, sipping water.
"Wow! Bestie, you're awake?"
Seeing her best friend safe and sound, Millie couldn't hide the relief in her eyes.
Following behind the hat-wearing girl, Alain also felt his nerves settle.
He saw the long-haired girl sitting on the sofa, her eyes lowered inquisitively, her gaze fixed on where their hands were joined.
"Since when did you two get so close?"
"Eh?" Millie tilted her head, following her best friend's gaze, and saw her hand still clasped with Alain's, never having let go since they'd held them. "Ahhhhhh!"

Misha smiled calmly and took a gentle sip of her warm water.
"Darling, how are you feeling?"
Alain walked over to her side, placing the sanitary pads and other items beside the girl. He then heard Misha's slightly weak voice, "I feel a bit weak... but it shouldn't affect tomorrow's mission."
Looking at the frail Misha, Alain felt a pang of sympathy and naturally wouldn't let her push herself.

Alain had a guess. Perhaps Pocket Mita's programming dictated: Must not be discovered by the player.

However, when Alain blinked, three more human-headed spiders had appeared in Mita's room.

Alain looked away from the screen again. Intense thump-thump-thump sounds came from the headset once more.
This time, he counted down ten seconds, but the thumping stopped early.
He thought Pocket Mita had dealt with the enemies and looked up to check.
Pocket Mita was no longer in the living room area, but inside the kitchen.
As he wondered why, he noticed the scene in the living room area.
Another spider was dead, but two more had appeared. Now, there were a total of four human-headed spiders in the small room.
The four human-headed spiders scurried rapidly towards the kitchen where Pocket Mita was, banging their heads against the kitchen door like hammers.
The petite pocket girl remained motionless. But her frightened eyes occasionally darted towards the door.
Four spiders, and Mita, separated only by a wall.
Was dealing with just one human-headed spider the limit of Pocket Mita's strength?
Alain frantically considered what he could do in this situation. Hoping Pocket Mita could resolve the predicament herself... was clearly unrealistic.
Soon, the sound of singing from the bathroom caught his attention.
Singing... Millie's singing. Millie... controller?
He jumped up from the computer and dashed towards the bathroom as fast as he could.
