Arabella’s heart started pounding loudly when the same beast who had chased her down during their first meet took a step towards her. After running out of his office, she went directly into the kitchen because she was hungry. Little did she know that someone else was hungry too. The way the beast was growling at her, she wouldn’t be surprised if he would eat her with those big teeth.
She stayed rooted to her place, holding the plate in her hand. For a moment, she thought to run away, but how far would she be able to go? She held the plate tightly in her hand, ready to hit him with it if required.
Night glowed at her in anger, giving her goosebumps.
‘He wouldn’t harm me. He told me.' Arabella thought because she didn’t want to hit the big bad wolf with the plate, even though nothing would happen to him. Within a second, his big and dangerous hand wrapped around her waist, bringing her closer to him. Night took a deep breath and enjoyed her spicy scent.
Arabella stayed quiet, not knowing what to do next, but even though she was in the arm of a beast, she felt secure and safe.
"I’m hungry." She whispered, hoping he would let her go, and he gladly heard her. He loosened his grip around her, but he didn’t let her go. Arabella looked up at him, wondering what now? And in the next moment, Night’s big tongue licked her whole face.
"Geez… What are you doing?" She complained, giggling, but Night kept licking her with affection.
"Don’t you think I’m ugly?" She asked, and Night growled at her, making her flinch and squint her eyes. "Okay! Okay! I’m sorry." She spoke, running her hand over his soft black fur.
"Can you please stop now? I’m hungry." Arabella requested, "And also return control to your human, because he, too, hasn’t had dinner because of work." She added, thinking about Wylder. She wasn’t sure that he would hear her until she saw him shifting back to his human form.
NAKED.
Arabella tried to push him away, but Wylder’s grip around her waist increased, not letting her step away from him.
"Remove your hand from my waist if you don’t want me to break your head." Arabella hissed, showing the plate in her hand. Wylder looked at her in amusement and let her go. Not that he cared for his head, but he never learned to manhandle a woman.
‘Zahir!! I’m back.’
‘Let me guess, that Omega is the reason behind it.’
‘Yes. And that omega has a name now. So, use the word ‘that omega’ for her. I’m going to change your name to ‘pussy cat’.’ Wylder said this in a serious tone, widening Zahir’s eyes. ' Anyway, is Aiden fine? Night threw him away in order to chase him.
‘Yes!! Minor injuries for a werewolf. His shoulder is dislocated. I’m sure by morning or, at worst, by tomorrow night, he will be fine.' Zahir responded.
‘Make sure that he has his dinner.' Wylder said and made a mental note to apologize to him once he had his dinner. Once he was done mind-linking, He looked around for Arabella, who was done washing her face in the sink.
"Why did you wash your face?" He asked in a cold tone.
"Because I wasn’t comfortable with your beast’s saliva all over my face.' She retorted. Night growled in Wylder’s mind hearing this answer, but he didn’t say a word because this wasn’t the first time someone had said the same thing before.
