Messing with Tashigi was fun, Yuta won't deny that, but he didn't want to waste time with her too much. As for why both she and Smoker were after him, it was clear even if he hadn't seen One Piece that much.

Or that they wanted to recruit him into the Marines, which was most likely the case.
However he's ain't interested, this world as much as he has learned has no pure sense of good and bad. There are times when Pirates do good and then there are Marines who do evil.
"In this case, who is the hero and who is the villain." Yuta for once can't say. If there is one thing he knows for sure then it's that maybe there is no absolute good in this world but absolute evil exists. They are currently ruling this planet.
"THE WORLD GOVERNMENT"
Marines listen to the world government and thus there is no way Yuta is joining the Marines.
So he just sneaked out of there when Tashigi wasn't looking, going his own way.
Going where, was a question though, now that he wasn't hungry anymore, he could think again.
He was currently in the western part of the country, at the port of Nanohana.
Going north from here will take him to Alubarna, the capital of the country. Going there could help him gather info about what was wrong with the country but there is no way he will get to meet the rebels there. There is no way the rebels would be hiding inside the capital.
So going there was pretty much pointless. Rather than that he should go to the other side.
The entire country of Alabasta was divided into two halves, and the two ways to go from one place to another were either by sea route in the south or going north and passing from the mountains.
Going to the eastern part of the country will bring him to Yuba and Rainbase.
"Sigh... then there is also Luffy here. If that guy is here then I am much closer to the storyline than I thought. I need to finish the Alabasta arc. And probably the best option in this case would be to follow the Straw Hats.
If nothing then I can make sure that I am closer to where the action is." Yuta muttered after thinking about it, he certainly can go his own way but going on his own mindlessly won't help him.
Finding the Rebels or finding out why Alabasta is suffering from such a serious drought is easy. If nothing then he can just keep reading the story and he will know.
That was the plan earlier, but now that Luffy and others are here, its now has become a race.
There is no way that Luffy being the protagonist will not solve this kind of problem, if nothing then his plot armor will act up and Yuta will lose the chance to complete the quest.
He can't let that happen. So in this case the best idea was to just follow Straw Hats and take the chance when the time is right.
"I'll put my cards on the Protagonist Luck and Plot Armor this time..." Yuta mused with a little smirk on his face and then started to make his way out.
'Now where did those two brothers go?' Yuta muttered with a little irritation on his face.
"Ace who was that? Why did we run away." Luffy asked with a confused look on his face. Both he and Ace were running away from the Navy.
"He is Yuta, I don't know much about him but he is pretty strong," Ace said with a little hesitation, he didn't know that Yuta was that strong.
"And why Smokie is chasing both of us," Luffy asked as he dug an attack which came towards him from Smoker.
'Smokie! Is he your friend or something ?' Ace seriously wanted to ask but he knew Luffy's antics and thus he just ignored the cute little nickname he gave to Smoker.
"We are Pirate, and he is Navy. That's their thing. Just run." Ace grumbled, still now sure why he was running away in the first place. He can just fight Smoker.
But more Navy are chasing them, fighting them all here will be troublesome.
So they kept on running until Luffy saw his crew hiding nearby and he ended up dragging Ace with him to them.
"Not here, not here... Luffy Baka not here." Nami and others were shouting as they saw Luffy with another man running towards them. That was fine though, The reason problem was that Baka was chased down by the Navy. And now he was running towards them.
"Who is that other man." others started to run as well, running away from the Navy which was chasing down both Ace and Luffy.
Other navy of course didn't know them so technically they didn't have to besides some members of the crews who had a bounty on their head like Zoro.
But Smoker was with them, he knew all of them.
"Running away from the Navy was hard, but always a fun thing isn't it."
"Yeah, all this because of that Baka Luffy," Nami shouted, raising her fist with anger clear burning in her eyes, there were veins visible on the fist.
"Aw Nami, why did you do that ?" Luffy held his head with both of his hands, glaring at Nami, though that glare immediately disappeared when Nami looked at him.
Nami was satisfied now but then she blinked...
"Who are you." It turn out the person who just said this wasn't someone from the crew.
At that time everyone turned to the man who was sitting right now on Merry.
"Oh sorry, I should have introduced myself first. I am Yuta Hiro. Nice to meet you." Yuta said with a smile.
Finding either Ace or Luffy wasn't hard, just go and find Going Merry, that's all.
"YO, Ace you are here as well. Why did you run away from there ?" Yuta waves his hand with a smile on his face. He no longer has the stranger attitude with him anymore.
He has to act friendly after or how else is he gonna travel with the Straw Hats?
