My heart melted but yet I froze, I have seen this male creature before and over and over again and again, I can't say I lost count,not like I was counting either.
Today he looked so different, maybe because he was furious, was he mad at me? I didn't do anything,he wasn't smiling,I have never seen him smile, he wasn't much of a smiler either.
Anyways, he seems different,he looked more handsome,did he shave?, "You look so attractive, I feel like falling on the ground but I want you to catch me before my weight hits the ground" my head practically saying those words to me, funny right?.
I stood in front of him so speechless, my eyes refusing to blink, so i don't miss any moment. "I hate to repeat myself" his voice brought me out of my shadows.
"Really" I pose into my super lady style.
"Move out of my garden" he said in a tone I couldn't really read, is he just saying it in a normal way or is he angry?.
Does he mean those words?, Well he should as we tell me to fucking leave his mansion, am sick of here already, but I wouldn't let what he said get to me, I plan to get back to him, oh yes! I wanted him to get a piece.
"No!" I played stubborn, I watched his eyes shot wide.
"What did you say?" he asked, maybe just to be sure he heard me right.
"I hate to repeat myself... Ethan!" I slammed back at him.
I can't say where all that guts came from but I love it..., I just wanted him to get some tiny little bit of me.
"Hmm... I see what you're doing there,but don't let me do something we would both regret" he words were fierce and I was scared but didn't let it show.
"And what will that be huh?... You want to behead me and serve my head to the dog or... probably send it as a Christmas gift to my family,well flash news,I've got none except me, so save yourself the stress and dig a hole" I said with every strength and courage I had.
"What?.." he said in a confused tone.
"Oh don't play dumb Mr Bucket, I know you intentionally help other kick thier buckets" I stood in front of him like a to_do list of his past.
"Who told you that" gripping unto my arms tightly. "Let me go!" I screamed.
"You're hurting me!" I shouted but he squeezed harder and I shut my eyes.
"Am sorry about your parents, I didn't kill them. But no one! I mean absolutely no one!! no one says no to me" he said, his words coming out from his nostril like burning fire. Well I've heard alot of stuff about Ethan, but I have never ever heard him apologize to any human, he never says sorry to anyone, who am I? I must be a god!.
Although I still let my nut head control me. "Well.let.me.be.your.guest!" I said with every tiny air left inside of me.
Back to Present
"You want to what?!" Ethan's eyes wide opened.
"I wanna come with you Ethan,I wanna be there for you, ple...ase Ethan" making my cute cat face.
"Were you eavesdropping?" he asked. "I wasn't" I lied.
"What did you hear?" He sounded really curious.
"Well... I didn't hear the part where Mark said you're gonna die if you face Aiden alone, and how you stubbornly told him to send all the guards and maids home, and your stubborn head wants to make things right" I said looking at my sweaty palms playing with themselves.
"Nuella!..." He growled.
"C'mon Ethan, I wanna help you" I said, leaving the bed to reach him.
"Help me?!...how Nuella?... How do you plan to do that?" He asked much more concerned than curious,he knew how I can be, I was determined to really help.
"I don't know, but I can't watch you risk your life, I wanna come with you" I begged. "You can't help me!" He roared out, I froze.
The dead silent visited us immediately, I turned my back to face him, I embraced the coldness that flushes through me, my heart raced as the hot salty tears in my eyes blurred my vision, rolling down my cheeks.
I don't know how I wanted to help Ethan, he is the love of my life, I can't bear to lose him, my decision was final.
My thought,immediately interrupted by the icy cold palms of the man I've shared half of my life with.
"Am sorry" , his voice as cold as ice.
"I didn't mean to raise my voice at you, I am really sorry" he apologized. No response.
"I don't want to lose you Nuella" he said,I could tell he had fear in his voice. No response.
"I can't bear to lose you" he confessed and I melted, those words penetrated my skin.
"You won't lose me Ethan, never!I just want to be by your side, till when all this is over, I want
to help you fight this.... I don't want to lose you either Ethan, I can'tlive without you" I said,this
time,face to face, tears streaming down my cheeks with passion.
He nodded in agreement, my hands reaching to touch his face, his hands drying my face,I watched anxiety dance disco around his face, I knew he was scared for me.
"I love you" he said, looking straight into my eyes to show me how much he really meant those three words.
"I love you too Ethan"I replied honestly.
His breath fanning my face, I stared at his lips then back to his eyes, I watched him do the same, I could tell he wanted me, he always did.
Before I allowed myself to get carried away with my thoughts,I closed the gap between us,my hands rested perfectly on his broad shoulders,my eyes dead shut, I took his lips into mine.
I kissed him, I wanted him to forget his worries, I wanted him to live for now, I wanted to show him I ain't going nowhere, I wanted him to know I was his forever to behold.
"I love you so much Ethan".
