“Do we really need to?” At this point, Yang Xu looked at her Brother, as though asking for help. Her big round eyes were now the sizes of plates as though begging to be excused.
Yang Ji had a multitude of curses in his mind, curses that were not vulgarities of course. He put out a strong front and calmly gave Mo Na Ye a response. “I’ll take it first. If anything happens, my Sister will be able to help me.”
Mo Na Ye gave a solemn nod. If Yang Ji had not proposed this, he would have. After all, unlike Black Ink Strength being stuck on them externally, he could not really do much if it was stuck inside their bodies. The best way to resolve it was definitely Purifying Light, something only the twins could unleash.
Yang Ji took a deep breath and moved back to the pool. This time, he did not let his feet touch the shore. He bent down and took two handfuls of Black Ink Strength Fluid.

Soon enough, his body seemed to have lost strength and he fell limp.
Thankfully, Mo Na Ye was quick to act. He had already placed his arm under Yang Ji’s chest, and caught him. He pulled Yang Ji further away from the shore and let him rest.
RIght now, there was essentially nothing he could do for him. This was going to be an internal battle for Yang Ji. All he could do was to stand by the child’s side and ask for Yang Xu’s help if needed. But, was that even necessary?
Yang Xu was quick to rush to Yang Ji’s side. She clasped his hand with both of hers and sat cross-legged. She immediately went on to use her Qi and Divine Sense to check on his condition.
Inside, she found that Black Ink Strength had already started flowing inside his Meridians. It was being resisted by his Qi, but any contact made was met with brutal damage.
[If this continues his Meridians are going to be crippled!] Yang Xu worriedly screamed in her heart and tried to use her Qi to help him.
However, that was when Mo Na Ye spoke up, “What are you doing? Don’t panic. I would not have said anything if you are just going to monitor his condition. But, interfering with this process using Qi? Are you trying to make his condition worse?”
Yang Xu immediately stopped. Her hands were frozen. She turned to Mo Na Ye, with an expression that questioned what she should do now.
“Not to worry. Just wait and see for now. If it gets too dire, I’ll tell you. Use Purifying Light on him if that happens. Also, make sure that when you use Purifying Light, you only focus it on him. Else, this whole mountain might have another crater.” Mo Na Ye tried to calm her down by slowly instructing each step. It would be no joke if there was an explosion of purifying light. Since they were by a mountain, an explosion here would literally take out the ground underneath them, and cause the whole pool to spill downstream. He did not even want to consider the devastation that would cause if the Holy One does not act to prevent the worst from happening.
As for Yang Ji, he was oblivious to what was happening around him. The pain he was experiencing had basically overcomed all other sensations. He could feel his blood vessels screaming as they got torn and rebuilt over and over again. Even his Meridians were being torn and healed each second.
He was only able to keep this up due to his extremely unique and pure Phoenix Bloodline. If not for this, he would have most likely been overwhelmed by the Black Ink Strength.
Still, the rampaging Black Ink Strength was unyielding. In fact, even when his Qi was resisting the Black Ink Strength, and their tussle injured him, Yang Ji could feel the Black Ink Strength in his body not decreasing!
