After almost five minutes of sitting in the chair, staring at the flickering candles, his phone buzzed with a message from Cold Shade.
[Cold Shade: Alright. In three, ready?]
A cold wind swept through the room, blowing out the candles and dimming the room once more, but it wasn't pitch black darkness like last night.
He could see that an item had appeared in the middle of the magical circle—it was a brown pouch, stuffed with gold coins, which were almost bursting out!
Kiernan checked it out, and without counting it, he added all the gold coins to his system interface.
Since he remembered how many gold coins he had before, he counted based on how much money he had now after adding the new coins and came to the conclusion that Cold Shade gave him the right amount of money.
There wasn't one coin too many or too less. It was exactly the correct amount.

Kiernan was about to close the phone, thought that was pretty much it, but then a person who hadn't spoken for some time sent a message.
[Gentle Rose: Do you have anything else to trade? You had an item of the old world, so perhaps you have something else valuable?]
'Anything else… I could purchase Frostbite Bow, which is probably another relic of ancient times, but I probably wouldn't make any profit from that either.'
Kiernan thought, opened his system interface, and looked at the lottery option.
