I arrived at team stands, once I arrived, my teammates looked at me in surprise, I waved and said. ''Yo.''
Rawal's eyebrow was raised and asked from me.''Why are you here?''
''Because it's my team's turn to fight,'' I said with a smile
Rawal asked in doubt. ''But you didn't need to come, me and Evol would easily win this fight.''
I grinned and said. ''I am gonna fight.'' Rawal's and Evol's eyes widened.
''Why?'' Rawal asked in shock.
''Does it matter? I am fighting in the first match.'' I ordered and looked at our coach, who had black hair, blue eyes and he wore glasses, looking very intelligent, he has been Armya's club advisor and coach for over 10 years now and Armya has gotten 6 championships during his time.
Seeing Slych look at him, Armya's coach also known as Eyrim nodded and said. ''Go ahead.'' I nodded with respect.
I respect Eyrim, not many know about his deeds, but I heard from the principal of my middle school.
Eyrim was fighting for Armya 20 years ago and he was in the line-up since his first year and during his time there - Armya got triple championships in a row - The first time ever in Armya's school history.
I admired that and I also wanted to achieve the same feat.
But that was not enough for me to respect Eyrim, he was also a Martial General fighter, but he decided to retire because he received a leg injury and decided to come back to Armya to be a coach for our team.
Not many can recover from the mental damage of not being able to fight anymore if they have spent their entire lives for it.
That is why I respect him.
Hearing what Eyrim said, Rawal and Evol nodded and sat down on their chairs.
I looked at the arena and saw that referee was gesturing towards us, to send someone to the arena for the first match.
I started walking towards the arena and instantly stadium grew louder and louder.
I only sighed and walked the stairs towards the top of the arena.
*Cheers!*
Cheers resounded around the arena and even the referee looked at me in surprise.
On another side, my opponent came with shaky legs and a pale face, looking at me in fear.
And he was their team captain from Yrim.
If even captain was this fearful, you can only imagine others.
I looked at my opponent and he had blond hair, blue eyes with a slightly attractive face, but it was now very pale and his body was lean, probably focusing more on agility.
I remember him being Low Martial Leader, quite strong in some sense, but he is not even fully focused, so his performance will be quite affected.
Shame, I want to show Ichiro some of my stronger moves.
Maybe I should still show, but my opponent would be in danger of getting injured.
''Match Nr.17! Middle School of Armya Vs. Middle School of Yrim! First Round, Slych Raften Vs. Axel Sundown!''
''Are you both ready?!'' the referee yelled and I gave a gentle nod.
My opponent took a deep breath and also nodded.

The match started and when I was about to start attacking, I saw Axel take a defensive approach, focusing fully on the defensive with zero attacking intent.
I have seen this many times, when facing me their survival instinct kick in, and start focusing more on surviving and not winning.
How can you get stronger without facing stronger opponents, don't just stand there and fight instead of shaking in fear…
I let out a huge sigh and decided to go easy on him.
His fighting will is nonexistent and I don't want him to get depressed from his defeat.
I put strength on my legs and leaned forwards and burst with speed, not even using half of my true speed, but it still looked incredibly fast.
I saw Axel flinching from my movement, but he quickly regained his senses and prepared for my attack.
I arrived in attacking range and I clearly saw Axel's fear-filled expression, which I decided to ignore and raised my right leg and kicked towards Axel's shinbone in his left leg.
*Smack* Loud sound of flesh getting hit echoed in the stadium, I kicked with my leg, using it like a whip, making a clear bruise on his leg.
''GRH.'' Axel gritted his teeth but decided to still keep his guard, which I applaud him for it.
I again raised my right leg and did a sidekick towards Axel's waist area.
Axel quickly decided to put his guard to block the kick.
*Bam* Sidekick hit Axel's guard, but it made him flinch in pain and slide a few meters to the side.
I chased him and seeing that Axel, quickly decided to put his guard up.
I am not quite sure what is he planning to do, with only guarding you can't win.
Axel was guarding with his head behind his hands, waiting for the next move.
I didn't disappoint and decided to jump and make a flying roundhouse kick towards Axel.

''!'' Axel widened his eyes and saw with his right eye, blur coming towards the side of his face.
*Bam* Flying Roundhouse kick successfully hit Axel's face, which made blood start dripping from Axel's forehead.
Axel grimaced in pain while holding his bleeding wound with his left arm while looking at me with undisguised fear.
I stood in the arena calmly, while listening to the cheers echo in the arena and wind blowing towards my face.
Then I took a side glance towards Irio's team stand and the sight made me curve my mouth into a smile.
Ichiro was looking at my fight with boredom, seeing such a one-sided fight.
While Lucas was yawning and was poking Ichiro's cheek, making Ichiro slightly annoyed.
I was happy that they didn't care about me defeating my opponent without any effort.
Not much can say about others, who were still trying to look unimpressed, while actually looking towards me with envy, anger, and despair.
Time to end this I guess, it's boring; I will go talk with Ichiro to get rid of my boredom.
I looked ahead and saw Axel again putting guard, which made me just annoyed.
I planned to show some special towards Ichiro and Lucas, that is what I am planning to do.
*Crack!* I put strength on my legs and started lowering my stance more and more, until I was almost crouching, while tiles under me started cracking.
*Boom!* I jumped towards midair while the ground below me exploded.
I was about 10 meters mid-air while looking below me and I clearly saw Axel look at me in disbelief and the confused faces of others.
Also, Ichiro finally got rid of his boredom and looked at me with widened eyes.
I smirked and raised my right leg to be the same height as my neck.
Then I finally started to descend towards the ground.
I clenched all my muscles and I also gritted my teeth while descending with great speed.
I was now only 2 meters from the ground until finally, I decided to unleash my attack, which was Flying Axe Kick.
[Tomahawk Axe!]
*CRACK!!!!!!!* I did my flying ax kick towards the arena's ground, which made the whole arena crack in pieces, tiles flying around with a wide crater appearing in the spot I kicked.
I didn't aim that attack towards Axel, who probably would have died, I only hit it to the ground to show some of my true power.
But I will leave some towards finals~
''…'' I stood up from my spot while wiping some dust off from my pants and then looked around me, Axel was looking at me with his usually pale face with even some tears starting to come out of his eyes, while the referee looked with widened eyes and slight relief seeing that attack wasn't aimed at Axel.
Other students were also watching with mouths agape and the crowd was also silent.
''Show off!'' Then I heard Ichiro's yell and I let out a huge smile and silently laughed.
''I-i give up.'' I heard Axel weakly say.
The referee heard it and loudly declared. ''Match Over! Winner Slych Raften!''
I gave a nod and walked out of the broken arena and descended the stairs.
''Was that necessary?'' Rawol asked me with sigh.
I nodded with a smile and kept walking towards Ichiro, leaving other Armya members behind.
Might become a slightly longer day for them, because it will take time to fix that arena or simply use smaller arena's after one of them has finished.
I walked towards Ichiro while claps and cheers echoed in my ears and while I was walking towards Ichiro, all the students who I walked past, took a quick glimpse and looked away from me quickly.
I arrived where Ichiro was, he was looking at me in annoyance and I asked. ''What's up?''
''I hope this day won't get longer, because you decided to destroy that arena and it might take some time to fix it, we have our mission tonight remember?'' He told me with annoyance.
''Hmm, I would be fine to leave right now,'' I told Ichiro.
Ichiro's eyes started glowing and asked. ''What about your team?''
''They will handle it, i am bored here,'' I told and Ichiro nodded with grin.
''Then what are we waiting for? Let's get fuck outta here.'' Ichiro said quickly and i and Lucas followed him with grins.
But then I heard their club advisor ask. ''W-where are you going?'' Ichiro stopped and looked at him and said. ''Boys stuff, don't worry about it.'' Ichiro then waved his hand and started walking again.
''R-remember to return to the hotel!'' The club advisor yelled loudly.
Ichiro gave a nod and we started our journey out of the stadium.
