''One more.'' Abyss said sternly.
''A-Ahh…'' Azura pushed with all her strength, trying to finish the last push-up. She used her frail arms to push her petite body up, her peerless face was drenched in sweat.
'For Ichiro… For my love!' With the last remaining willpower, she pushed her up.
''100!'' She shouted and fell down on the ground, completely exhausted.
Abyss had a small smile, ''Good job, rest.'' He left after those words.
This was the first day he started training Azura, and honestly, he is quite surprised.
They have done only body strengthening training, and Azura shouldn't have been capable of doing 10 push-ups, let alone 100!
But, her willpower made it possible.
Azura's chest went up and down as she tried to catch her breath.
Soon, she stood up with her exhausted body, but she wasn't planning to stop her training so soon.
She went to the training dummy, to train the punch Ichiro taught her.
She went into the punching, took a deep breath, and unleashed her punch!
At the moment of impact, she clenched her fist which caused the strength of the punch to be multiplied!
*BAM*
The training dummy was sent flying to the wall, but Azura was not satisfied, she felt like there was something missing.
Like… It was lacking something… Like it could be better.
What she didn't know was that she was doing a basic version of Iron Smash.
Ichiro only taught her that, otherwise her arm will be broken if she tries the real version.
But… Her genius mind is starting to learn the secret behind Iron Smash.
She was about to move to the next training dummy, but then she heard her phone ringing.
She ran towards her phone which was located in a chair, she looked at the phone number and saw that it was the same unknown number as yesterday!
She smiled sweetly and accepted the phone call.
''Hubby!'' She sat down on the chair and said cheerfully.
''Hey, how are you doing?'' A voice she would never forget appeared on the phone, but she feels like the owner of that voice was tired…
''I am fine… What about you?'' Azura asked with worry, she feels like Ichiro is hiding something, which made her want to get stronger even faster.
''I am fine… Just a little bit tired.'' The voice replied, there was clear exhaustion in it.
''Did you get attacked by strong Beast?'' She asked with worry.
The voice became quiet for a few seconds, until she received a reply, ''Not really… Just mentally exhausted, but I will be soon fine! Enough of me, what are you up to?''
Azura looked around the training room, ''Nothing… Missing you.''
A small chuckle was heard from the phone, ''You should go visit your friends, time will go faster.''
Azura pouted and sighed, ''I don't want to… I feel like they truly aren't my friends.''
''Did something happen?'' A voice said with worry.
''Not really…'' She said a lie, she did hear her 'friends' talk behind her back about she using her body to seduce the so-called Heavenly Child.
But, it was mostly jealousy talking.
The voice became silent for a few moments like he didn't really believe it, ''I will be back soon… We can go for a date after I have returned.''
Usual cheerfulness appeared on Azura's face, ''A new diner has just opened! I have always wanted to go there!''
''Then, we will go there after I have returned.'' The voice said with a gentle tone.
''Nn.'' Azura nodded, ''How were your swords?''
''Ahh…'' The voice calmly replied, ''Good… Much better than before.''
''Good! W-When are you planning to return? You don't have to stay longer… Right?''
The voice became quiet once again until a sigh was heard, ''I have to stay a little bit longer. But, I will call you later, and if I don't, I will most likely still be on the Island, so you don't have to worry.''
''Ahh… Right.'' Azura looked sad, but then she asked, ''Are you alone?''
''Hmm? Yes.''
''About yesterday…'' Azura shyly said, ''Y-You talked something about L-word, I couldn't properly hear it, so can you repeat it?'' She said with a blush on her cheeks.
The voice became quiet until a cough was heard, ''Right… Yup, I like you, see you tomorrow, I will have to go.''
''W-Wait, dummy!'' She shouted with a pout, but then the phone call got disconnected.
She looked at the phone and clenched her fist, ''I will make you say that word… No matter what!'' She said with newfound motivation.
She turned her head back to the training dummy, 'Stronger… What is lacking…' She put the phone back on the chair.
Azura stopped in front of the training dummy and looked at her small fist.
''I feel like something is wrong… But what is it…'' Azura closed her eyes and started remembering the way Ichiro did it.
His movement seemed similar, but also different.
One thing was vastly different…
His footwork!
When the punch is about to hit, he also used his legs like some kind of spring, to increase the output of the strength.
That's what she was missing!
Her leg is straight while she is punching, but Ichiro has a much lower stance with his knee in a more forward position.
She changed her posture and lowered her stance. She feels now much more comfortable.
She took a deep breath, twisted her waist, and unleashed the punch!
Once the punch was about to hit, she clenched her fist and used her legs as a small spring.
*BOOM*
The training dummy flew like a rocket and crashed on the wall. It broke from impact with a sizeable fist mark on the wooden chest of the training dummy.
''I did it!'' Azura cheered, but then her face morphed into pain, ''AAAH!'' She fell down on her knees, she looked at her arm and saw that it was broken!
''What happened?!'' Anxious Abyss entered the training room and saw Azura holding her arm in agony.
He appeared next to Azura with a flash of lightning, he looked at the arm and grimaced.
''It will be fine, but I need to get you to the hospital.''
Azura shakily nodded.
Abyss touched her shoulder and they instantly appeared in the hospital.
The nurses were shocked, but then they recognized them.
They quickly helped Azura to stand up, and instantly the doctors were alerted.
Azura now realized, that she might have underestimated Iron Style little bit too much.
