Kayden's POV
Still standing behind her, I signaled for a waitress to come, as I whispered some things in her ear.
"Sir…what are you?.." She wanted to stand up, but I used my hands to press her shoulder down, making her sit against her will.
"I am not going to hurt you okay,so just relax" I assured her for the second time.
The waitress soon returned with a face wipe, hair lotion and a comb.
I wiped her face continuously, taking off all the scattered makeup that just refused to go off initially.
Then I rubbed some of the hair lotion on her hair, and combed her hair out before packing it into a bun, at the back of her head.
"Will you marry me?" I went on my knees and dropped the bombshell on her.
She almost fell off the chair, as all eyes were now on us.
"Sir??!" She said and I couldn't tell if she was just shocked, or angered by my actions.
"I…I..I.. can't" she managed to whisper as a smile crawled on my face..
I sat on the chair in front of her, and stretched my hands towards her on the table,rubbing her knuckles with my thumb.
"You are perfect for the job" I declared to her, and that only made her more confused.
"No other girl, that is in desperate need of money would turn down a wealthy prince, but unfortunately this wealthy prince is about to lose everything, if you don't save him" I kept my pride aside as I began to explain to her.
"I need you to be my wife." I still struggled with the right words. She just sat there quiet and in a lack of words.
"My father, the king, died and left everything for me, but I am unable to access that wealth until I am happily married for two years or more.
That is where you come in, my uncle who is currently the king has found a wife for me.
But, he wants to use her to k*ll me, he wants me dead, so he can have everything for himself" I took a pause just to read her expression.
"I am so sorry about that but I cannot do what you are asking of me" she turned down my proposal.
"Think about your mum, I will pay for her surgery, and I will also pay you one hundred million for each year that you are my wife. If you become my wife for just two years then you will be walking away with two hundred million dollars and a healthy mum.
Think how happy you can make your sister and mother with such a huge amount of money" I tried to blackmail her emotionally.
Yes, I knew it was very selfish of me to do but I was also in a difficult position myself.
"You will be saving two lives, your mother's life and my life. Please.." I continued to talk, but she just looked at me with a tear escaping from her left eye and she left me.
I clenched my fist and grinded my teeth, who does she think she is to turn down a prince? Not just any pince but Kayden?.
I was so nice to her, she can go to hell if she wants to, I am sure that there are other girls out there that would be willing to do the job, if she doesn't want it then it's fine. She can continue to wallow in poverty.
Heaven's POV
I got home with tears in my eyes. How could he even say all those things to me, does he look at me that way?
What is going on?. I looked at myself in the mirror, and washed my face in the bathroom sink just to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
He had packed my hair into a nice bun and when his hands were on my head, I felt like I found myself in another world.
I took my bath, and just refused to lose the bun before going to bed.

Although Heaven had openly refused prince Kayden's offer, she was contemplating deeply as to whether to go back to him or not.
After all, she is human and no one in her situation would want to let this kind of opportunity slip by. Kayden on the other hand was struggling within, he needed a bride, a contracted wife but none of the girls seemed good enough.
They all looked very pretty, and could easily play the role of his wife, but he couldn't deny the fact that their actions clearly screamed, they were going to take more than the 200million.
He knew he had to be careful since whoever he is to marry is going to be his next of kin. Two weeks had gone by already, and the news of Kayden's wedding to princess Emma spread faster than the most deadly virus.
It was going to be the biggest wedding. Even guests from different countries were invited, and one would feel really unlucky, if they were to miss the wedding for any reason. All the radio stations and tv stations carried the news.
"I can't believe that our wedding is going to be next week" Emma was so excited as she brought out the set of jewelry she was going to wear for the wedding.
"Sure, and why are you here?" Kayden asked Emma who comfortably sat on his bed.
"Common, I am here to show you how far I have gone with the preparation and also I know you want to.." Emma paused and tried to k*ss Kayden, but Kayden pushed her away.
"Emma, I thought we weren't supposed to see each other until we are married?" Kayden tried to use that as an excuse to get Emma away from him.
But the truth was that Kayden suddenly found Emma less attractive, probably because of his constant sxxual activities with her.
"I know but I just can't stay away from you" Emma tried to get close to Kayden again, but he stood up from the bed and walked away. Only to find Imogen just by the door of his room putting on a top that barely covered her twins, and a skirt that revealed her laps.
