Kayden's POV
I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Infact, I was having one already, and it was only a matter of time before I collapsed. I got some kind of relief when I saw her eyes open.
I rubbed her palm, and she closed her eyes immediately again, probably because of the blinding light.
"Are you okay?" I asked her, but she was too stubborn, she tried to stand on her own, and as a result, she almost fell.
"I am fine, what I'm I doing he…?" She was about to ask, then she remembered.
"Can we act as if nothing happened?" She questioned and I narrowed my eyes. This girl was completely out of her mind, at least that was how I felt.
If not, how would she be telling me to remain silent?
A worker, my worker tried to r*pe my wife, my own wife, my princess, and she was telling me to be quiet about it.
As a man was that even possible?
We will see about that later.
"Okay, let's go" I gave her a simple reply. She just walked out on me, and acted like we even barely knew each other.
I think I will take her for a brain scan later on, because this is not the wife I married, I mean the wife that married me in our case. I don't know, my head is all messed up.
Heaven's POV
"Are you also going to take part in the survey?" I heard one of my colleagues asking the other. I turned in their direction and they looked away from me.
I wonder why they hate me so much. I don't know if they really hate me, but that was how I felt, the vibes they were giving off wasn't just comforting, or welcoming at least.
I have barely worked here for a month and they already hate me. I'm I that horrible?.
"Here you go, Heaven. This is the form, you will have to fill it out correctly.
The CEO wants to know more about everyone that works in the office" The CEO's assistant handed me a sheet of paper.
I went through it, and everything seemed to be going well, until I got to the part where I was asked if I was married or single.
"Does anyone in the office know about our marriage?" I recalled myself asking Kayden this question, when he brought me to work early this morning.
"No, they don't," his voice echoed in my head.
There was no point stressing over it. I just filled in that I was single. I mean why won't I?. If they were to ask me who my husband was then what was I going to say?.
I mean, the fact that he kept our marriage a secret, clearly showed that he didn't want anybody to recognize me as his wife whatsoever.
But on the other hand, Kayden is very complicated, if he finds out. He might get angry at me, not like we are on good terms.
I just don't want to make things more complicated than they already are.

Every worker had filled out the form. It was just left for Kayden to go over it.
He had wanted to get this information over a month ago, but a lot had been going on, especially with Heaven. It delayed the process.
There were so many workers, thankfully the survey applied to a few workers.
And Heaven happened to be one of them, he was checking out the information, when he discovered that she had filled in single.
"What the heck?" He was stunned, and he wasn't going to hide that fact, even when his assistant was there looking at him.
"Is there a problem boss?" The young lad carefully asked. Kayden raised an eyebrow and frowned his face.
"No, you can leave now. Take all these papers away, I am done for today" he waved his hands in mid-air.
He was very upset, the reason unknown to him.
At the castle
Kayden's POV
I watched her have her dinner without saying anything to her, and with folded hands, I sat on the table silently.
"Kayden" she called out to me softly and I looked away from her.
"What?" I gave a simple reply, not showing any kind of expression on my face.
"Why haven't you eaten anything yet? Don't you like the food?" She asked me with so much excitement. With so much anger in me, I can't believe that she was asking if I would eat or not.
"The food is filled with lies since you touched it" I licked the roof of my mouth with my tongue, and stood up from the dining table. Leaving her and everyone else in shock.
What could I do?I couldn't stand it. My body was on fire, and it took a lot of endurance for me, not to set anyone else or anything around me on fire..
"Kayden" she called out to me and slowly walked up to me
She hugged me from behind with her fragile and soft hands on my chest. Well, they were on my n*pples, but that wasn't the case.
"Let go," I said in a very low tone, but she didn't listen to me. She hugged me tighter and rested her head on my back.
"I said let go!!!" My voice became louder this time, and I forced her hands off me.
"What did I do wrong? Why do you always have to treat me this way? I'm really your wife?!!" She got upset, and it was the first time she raised her voice to me in tears.
"That is what I want to know, are you, my wife? Because if you were, you wouldn't have announced to the whole world that you are single" I got frustrated and smashed my fist into the wall.
"What do you mean by that?" she tried coming closer to me, and I moved further away from her.
I couldn't even have the courage to look at her, it's very strange how someone who is feared by almost everyone, is scared of a woman.
Indeed, women can really do anything. They make the impossible possible, I guess.
"The survey, the form" were the only words that came out of my mouth.
I suddenly turned to see the expression on her face. She looked very guilty.
"How did you come to know about that?" She asked me, and I found her question funny.
"Tell me please, I thought only the CEO was to check the forms" she looked at her feet.
"It doesn't matter how I found out. The fact that you are ashamed of me as your husband, it's quite…..I don't know, it's just unpleasant" I told her, as I walked towards the door.
"Where are you going?" She wanted to come after me.
"I'm leaving, I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep next to you tonight. Good night" I bid her goodbye and shut the door.
"Don't forget to lock your door" I opened the door again, just to remind her.
She was too shocked to say anything so she just nodded her head vertically, as a way to tell me she will do it.
I closed the door again and went to sleep in the guest room.
