Regina staggered, her mind reeling from drinking too much, but she dared not stop. Because she knew, as long as her will was shaken, she accepted to give up and let them catch her, then her life would end. The bodyguards had chased right behind her and were about to catch her.
At the turn in the hallway, she suddenly bumped into a firm chest and fell backwards. However, she did not fall on her butt to the ground, but the man grabbed her waist and helped her stand.
"Every time I see you, you're drunk, aren't you?" Darryl laughed lowly.
His hand gently squeezed her slim waist and felt its softness, he had the feeling that if he only exerted a little force, her waist would be bruised. The woman in Darryl's lap was really soft and weak.
Partly from being drunk, and partly from being out of breath, Regina couldn't utter a single word in response to his question.
At this moment, the bodyguards had chased and they all stopped when they saw Darryl. Darryl's reputation in Italy is so famous, everyone knows how bloody and scary he is.
Darryl looked at the bodyguards who were hesitant to move forward or back, then looked at the woman's trembling and frightened expression and vaguely guessed what was going on here.
"Have you caught that whore, you idiots?"
The old billionaire staggered closer and pushed all the bodyguards who were blocking the corridor. However, his aggression did not last long when he saw Regina being hugged by Darryl Rider.
"Hello Mr. Rider. I wonder if we've bothered you?" The old billionaire's attitude became reverent and condescending.
"Not really, I was just passing by here and accidentally witnessed a chase." Darryl said in a low voice.
"I'm so sorry sir, it was my mistress who ran away. She messed everything up. You see, my head is still bleeding." As he spoke, the old billionaire held his head and grimaced, looking really hurt. "My mistress must have bothered you. Let me take her away."
The old man glanced at one of the bodyguards and motioned for him to grab Regina for him. But when that bodyguard took a step forward, Darryl suddenly stared at him. The bodyguard felt goosebumps all over his body and his legs were shaking uncontrollably, because Darryl's gaze was so terrifying.
"Your mistress makes me unhappy, shouldn't I punish her for you?" Darryl slowly moved his gaze from the bodyguard to the old billionaire.
"No need, Mr. Rider, I don't want to bother you. Just an ordinary woman, please let me handle her." The old billionaire smiled awkwardly. Although he is very afraid of Darryl Rider, he also covets Regina. He did not want to lose the beauty to someone else.
"Let's ask this woman, then, to see whose punishment she will choose." Darryl raised an eyebrow mischievously and grabbed Regina's chin. "Honey, give you that choice."
Regina was now in a hazy state of mind, she faintly overheard the conversation between the two men and knew that her current situation was very bad. Darryl Rider gives her two choices. One is that she will follow the old billionaire and accept to be his lover, live dependent on him and forever lose her freedom and innocence. The other option is for her to seek help from Darryl Rider, the most notorious mafia boss in Italy. Thus, she will have to prepare mentally to take unforeseen risks. Who doesn't know how cruel and scary Darryl is, so of course Regina is afraid of him.
After thinking for a few seconds, Regina finally closed her eyes, bit her lip, and leaned into Darryl's lap.
"Please take me out of here."
Her muffled and raspy voice made Darryl couldn't help but smile. The woman in his heart is indeed a top-class woman, she not only has a charming figure, enchanting charisma, fairy beauty but even her voice is sweet and seductive. Just hearing her say a few words made his crotch rise, the thought in his head just wanted to push her down on the bed and make love.
"Okay, I'll do as you please." Darryl leaned in to whisper in her ear, but the volume was loud enough for the old billionaire to hear.
"Wait, sir." Seeing that Darryl was about to pick up Regina and leave, the old billionaire was not willing. He gritted his teeth and tried to convince Darryl one last time. "I spent a billion dollars to buy her, the money I sent to her parents, so I can't get it back. Don't make it difficult for me."
"For only a few billion dollars, you have such a beautiful woman? It's so good for you." Darryl clicked her tongue and shook her head. "I'll pay you double. From now on this woman is mine."
After saying that, he turned and walked away without looking back. When the billionaire heard that, he did not dare to say another word. Although he regretted missing out on such a rare beauty as Regina, he valued his own life more. He was not stupid to the point of not understanding why Darryl would pay him twice as much.
Actually, Darryl could have shot him dead right here, but he didn't. The fact that he paid a high price to buy Regina shows that he has an interest in and really appreciates Regina. If he persisted in wanting to take Regina, Darryl's patience would run out, and by then his life would probably be over. Knowing that he could not compete with Darryl, the billionaire could only hold his bloody head and leave.
Darryl carried Regina to the car, who was now fast asleep and unaware. Darryl put her seat on the car seat and carefully fastened her seat belt. Seeing her head tilted slightly to one side, he gently rested her head against the window. His fingers involuntarily brushed against her cheek, the soft and cool sensations transmitted to his fingers causing him to pause slightly.
The woman in his car was one of the few women Darryl had ever gotten so close to, with the exception of his mother.
