Luliyah was frozen in place for a few minutes until she could hear the sound of the shower coming from the bathroom. The splashing of the water made her wake up from her reverie.
When she was about to walk towards the bed, the view of the lake from the window that Kelvin was seeing earlier seemed to attract her. The lake looked very calm. The surface was clear that it bore the reflection of the moon hanging high in the sky. It was a very beautiful sight and it probably should calm her down.
In contrast to the lake that looked calm, Luliyah's heart felt chaotic. All of this was because of Kelvin's existence. The man was cold, mysterious and terrifying. For some reason, her heart felt chaotic when she was near him.
Especially when he approached her earlier, with his shirt buttons slightly opened.
Luliyah waved her hand above her head, as if trying to get rid of the thought out of her mind. What was she thinking now? I'm I out of my mind?
She used both hands to cover her face in embarrassment of what she was thinking. She didn't even notice that the bathroom door was already open.
Kelvin came out of the bathroom wearing only his sleeping trousers, while he draped his clothes on his shoulders. The haircut that was previously styled with gel was now wet and still dripping with water. He did not walk to the bed, but approached Luliyah who was facing the window.
His muscular hands hugged her softly, while his lips kissed the side of Luliyah's neck. Luliyah was surprised when Kelvin suddenly hugged her without saying anything. She could feel the water dropping from the man's wet hair, making her feel cold. She could only stand straight, not knowing what to do. She didn't know how to reject the man.
Kelvin could only feel her body tensing, but he did not hear the refusal directly so he continued to give soft kisses on her neck. His lips continued to trace along Luliyah's nape then moved towards her ear, kissed her and breathed softly.
Luliyah could hear the sound of Kelvin's breath in her ear. The man's breath was so hot that it made her entire body shudder.
Kelvin turned Luliyah's body so that she was facing him and kissed her lips gently. The kiss began softly and quietly like a melody and gradually aroused her passion.
Luliyah didn't know what to do when Kelvin kissed her. His gentle kisses made her body feel weak and lost in the moment.
When their lips parted for a moment, Luliyah opened her mouth and was about to say something. Kelvin took the opportunity to kiss her again. He used his tongue to brush her lips gently. Then his tongue met Luliyah's, as if dancing in an intimate slow dance.
A low sigh came from Luliyah, but Kelvin didn't miss the sound. The sigh made him growl with satisfaction. His two hands held Luliyah's cheeks, while the woman's hand unconsciously tied behind Kelvin's neck, welcoming the man's lips.
In the midst of the intoxicating kisses, Luliyah realized one thing, tonight is officially their first night as husband and wife.
