At this moment, the Hammer-Hammer Fruit erupted with unprecedented power. In his rage, Hammer had only one thought in mind:
'Smash the bastard who wrecked his beloved ship to death'

A terrifying force began gathering around Hammer, concentrating in his right hand.
As he slowly clenched the air with his outstretched fingers, a visible long handle began to form, a condensed air shaft, forged from compressed hammer force and air through the powers of the Hammer-Hammer Fruit.
A series of heavy hammer strikes echoed. The shaft extended upward, forming a massive hammer before everyone's eyes.
Even more shocking was that although it appeared made of air, the hammer pulsed violently within, unstable and packed with destructive energy.
Hammer had always worked to evolve his Devil Fruit powers. He was fascinated by "object creation from thin air" seen in the original series, like Kuma's paw shockwaves and air cubes.
Fueled by rage, today he finally made that leap.

With full-on anime energy, Hammer gave his new move a dramatic name. Whether or not he was "borrowing" from a certain San from another universe? Who cared? He felt awesome doing it.
With a roar, Hammer swung the Heaven-Smashing Hammer, with unstoppable force, toward Don Chinjao, who was just climbing out of the wreckage in the hull.
Chinjao immediately sensed the incoming danger. His expression changed, and he leapt into the air, trying to evade, but it was too late.
He crossed his arms, cloaking himself in pitch-black Armament Haki, preparing to block the blow head-on.
The Heaven-Smashing Hammer slammed into Chinjao, letting out a thunderous shockwave.
Chinjao felt like his body had been hit by countless hammer strikes and shockwaves. He flew backwards like a missile, shattering railings and deck in his path…
…until he was blasted clear off the Warhammer ship.
Hammer panted heavily, looking over the destruction he had caused with a complicated mix of satisfaction and regret.
In his mind, that hit should've flattened the damn drill-head, but clearly the force still fell short, it only sent him flying. Worse yet, his ship took even more damage.
He walked over to the ship's side, gently patting the hull.
"My beloved ship... I finally avenged you…"
Lance: 'If I'm not mistaken, you just caused more damage than Chinjao did.'
Shirley: 'Deck… railing… a mast is missing now too'
Soldiers: 'Do you not feel bad wrecking your own ship?'
"What are you all staring at?! Full speed ahead, retreat!!"
"I'm telling you, I'm completely drained! If he catches up, we're all sleeping with the fishes!!"
Hammer, using the last of his strength, shouted at his stunned crew.
Lance and the others snapped back to reality and immediately turned the ship around and accelerated away.
Meanwhile, Chinjao crashed into the sea with a giant splash.
He slowly surfaced, face dark and twisted with rage.
Staring at the escaping Warhammer, Chinjao burned with fury.
He swore he'd make Hammer pay.
But his Haki reserves were dangerously low.
To be fair, Hammer's blow had real power; it compressed hammer strikes into one focused burst, and with Armament Haki added, the damage was devastating.
Chinjao had barely blocked it using every ounce of strength.
His arms now trembled and were useless; there was no way he could pursue.
He needed to retreat, recover… and wait for his moment of revenge.
Little did he know… Hammer was already planning his own revenge first.
He pulled out four Den Den Mushi and began making calls.
"Old Man Garp! Listen up, I, Hammer, have suffered a massive loss this time! My ship's wrecked, and I got my ass kicked! Are you gonna do something about this?! That bastard even said his cone head is invincible, that your 'Fist of Love' is a joke! 'Hero of the Marines'? More like 'Zero of the Marines'!"
"Old Man Kong! You know that Chinjao guy? The arrogant prick actually said that once he's in the West Blue, even the Fleet Admiral can't touch him! Oh, and he's loaded, mountains of treasure, enough to laugh off the entire Marines!"
"Sengoku! What are you laughing at?! He said you're just Kong's errand boy and the World Government's lapdog!"
"Teacher Zephyr! I almost died! Lance and Shirley got heavily injured! He said if we're weak, it's because our teacher's a joke! Sorry for bringing shame to your legacy…"
On the deck of the Warhammer, Hammer kicked off an emergency Marine high command conference, fueled by petty revenge and dramatic flair.

Chief Instructor Zephyr
Kong: "That insolent bastard! Garp! You hearing this?! Go cave in that cone head for me! Teach him a lesson!"
Garp: "Already on it! A damn cone head thinking he's hot shit? Just wait till I finish training with these mountains, I'll flatten his skull!"
Sengoku: "Hammer! Send me that bastard's coordinates! I'll make him learn that Buddha never smiles upon someone like him!!"
Zephyr: "Garp! Wherever you're training, count me in! It's been too long since I sailed out. A mere cone-headed pirate dares to act up?!"
Hearing this, Hammer was delighted. But outwardly, he still looked pitiful.
"Sigh... you big shots just don't get it. I suffered huge losses this time. The Warhammer is in pieces, over half my crew is injured, and if I hadn't fought like hell, I wouldn't have made it back."
"Huh? You don't believe me? Why would I lie about this?!"
"I'm already in the Calm Belt. I'll be back at Marineford soon. You four can come inspect the damage yourselves!"
