Chapter 35 the wedding begins
Turvi's pov
Finally I'm back home. I really missed it but I don't think the people here missed me.
And by people I mean my mother.
She made her choice. I see she loves her beliefs over me.
I sighed and pressed the bell. And the door was opened by my dear sister.
"Turu. Finally you're back. Oh god I missed you so much." stuti said and hugged me tightly.
"you're suffocating me idiot leave." I said dramatically and she sighed
"you won't change ever will you?" she asked
"Nope," I said popping the 'P'
"now love let me go inside." I told her
"Oh yes I'm sorry I forgot about it. Come." she said and step aside
I stepped inside and saw Mommy was cooking and Papa was nowhere to be seen.
The living room has some decoration items, not much because nothing is going to take place here.
I expected Mumma to once look at me but she didn't.
Well maybe this is how it's going to be.
After Stuti I should also get married as soon as possible.
Stuti gave my hand a firm squeeze understanding my emotions. I just smiled and went upstairs in my room.
If she wants to ignore me then I can do the same.
Tomorrow is Stuti's mehendi ceremony along with Sangeet. Day after tomorrow is Haldi and then marriage.
I'm so excited my dear sister will become a bride.
The day rolled off really quick me talking with stuti and trying to give her some moral support
She is a bit scared about all these things.
We had our food in my room only.
Papa also came and met me.
We decided to sleep together in my room until she gets married just like our childhood.
Next day came very soon.
It's a mehendi ceremony tonight along with Sangeet and I have to choose my dress as I have done a lot of shopping.
Few guests had came in our home and the same thing started
"you're so lucky to have a husband like him and you should behave accordingly bla bla bla.." those aunties started their lectures
I ignored them and made sure Stuti also ignored them.
In the evening first stuti got ready with the help of makeup artists yes we hired makeup artists because we want everything perfect and with other things going on don't have time to get ready alone and take a lot of time.
Stuti is ready in her Green pearl work lehenga with green pearl work bliss set along with green net work dupatta....
And I wore a Golden sleeveless blouse with green bacardi lehenga of big floral work....
We both are looking for a killer god to help our husbands.
We all reached the venue where the function is about to take place.
The groom's side is also present here but not my man.
His brother isn't coming tonight thankfully. He will come to the wedding directly as he has some work.
The mehendi artist started their work on Stuti's hands and legs.
"write my jiju's name like that, that he won't find it." I told the mehendi artist
"you are also next in line Turu. So say the much you can digest later when it comes on you." she said and I know what she meant
"see jiju is only looking at you." I said and she looked where I pointed
And guess what both look at each other's eyes and it's like both lost in each other.
Aww they look cute. But I have to burst the bubble of romance sadly.
"ahm ahm stuti don't give him a look that you want to eat him alive." I told her and she look at me with mouth agape
"you're so irritating." she huffed
"that I'm ,baby." I told her
"Now whose hubby is looking, they will faint?" she asked and I look at Aashu who is looking at me dreamily
And that's my cue to become a tomato.
"aww my Turu baby is blushing." she said and I glared at her
"what? Don't glare at me girl. I am only returning the favour." she said smugly
"yeah yeah whatever. Now it's time to show my dancing skills. After all, it's my sister's wedding." I told her and got up from my seat
Jiju has only one cousin just like stuti has me so basically it's a face off between us.
She is looking too over confident about her winning. Let's beat her and show who is in charge
We had chosen the Song Dola re.
We both started dancing and something happened I didn't think.
I lost my balance and fell down as I twisted my ankle.
Aashu came to help me with jiju.
That girl is giving me a smug look and eyeing my man.

"Are you fine?" Aashu asked
"Yes I'm," I replied
"so bad you lost Turvi, I heard you want to become a professional dancer if this happens then God knows how you will cope up." that bitch taunted me

"it's fine jiju don't worry. I understand." I told him with a smile and felt Aashu squeezing the hell out of my hand

"I think I should sit at one place." I said and Aashu helped me to settle beside stuti
"are you fine Turu? Sorry I couldn't get up as I had mehndi all over." she apologies
"it's ok and yes I'm fine. But you won't be fine after your marriage." I told her and she looked at me puzzled
"and why so?" she asked
"because you are going to get a bitch for your sister in law. She is a spoilt brat." I told her
"Ishani? Oh don't worry about her she doesn't stay with My in laws. She and her parents live separately and don't worry I can and will handle her. You just chill." she said and I nodded
The ceremony ended and I also applied mehendi on my hand
and it's time to check the mehendi after we came back.
" wow Stuti your mehendi colour is so deep. It means your husband will love you very much. "Mumma said
" you know stuti. Piya that 5 years old baby also applied mehendi and her mehendi is also dark. Her mom shared the pictures. If you will apply mehendi then it will obviously leave a mark and colour depends on time. The much you leave the better the colour will be simple. "I said smiling
People and their bull shit theories. I know I believe in few but that doesn't mean I will ignore the scientific reasons.
