Drake could only shake his head. They went to the same bus stop and then separated by taking different buses. Along the way, Drake seemed to think about many things. People always claimed he was just playful and had no plan because he had no dreams. Drake also considered so because he never thought about his future, he only lived his life for now. He didn't waste his time thinking about the past or the future, he just put his soul into living through the day. He doesn't worry about anything and is only afraid if he regrets what happened now.
Maybe other people will take this will sound too idealistic and unsuitable for him, or maybe this is just an excuse to justify his messy life. But Drake just wants to live life with no regrets. He kept walking by thinking that today was his last day and it made other people figure out he was just having fun without thinking about anything.
Everyone looks at him with one eye and treats him as if he is a teenage troublemaker from a broken home, a beggar love teenager who tries to attract attention by making trouble everywhere when in fact he is just trying to find what he wants to do. Drake always felt that he differed from other people because he didn't have any desires.
At first Drake thought Alex was just like himself, someone with no passion and only doing what his parents expected. He is ever comfortable standing next to Alex because Alex never asks him everything about the future he is planning or what his dreams are because Alex also seems to want nothing. He has no desire or even feelings for other people.
But now Alex has changed. He used to be a cool person. He never paid attention to the people around him or thought about other people's emotions. He only focuses on studying to fulfill his parents' expectations, indeed so his eyes always look empty. But now the eyes are filling up. Drake noticed something filling Alex's eyes as if he had found what he wanted.

The bus stopped and Drake got off at the school bus stop. Drake walked sluggishly as if he didn't have any strength left. He became sluggish like that because he knew he wouldn't be able to do his morning routine because Alex chose not to go to school today.
But the spring flowers seem to bloom, the air fills with love. Drake didn't realize it, wherever he passed there were always couples making out. “Please accept this letter, I wrote it all night for you.” Said the girl taking out the love letter she wrote from her pocket.
Drake fell silent. He became very nervous. He couldn't believe he would get a love letter like this. With great hesitation, he reached for the love letter. His heart was beating quick, he was very happy to get the love letter even though he did not know the schoolgirl who gave him the love letter.
“This, for me?” Drake asked and the girl nodded her head.
“I admire you, every morning I always watch for you to pass and stare at you in awe. You're really cool and there are lots of people who like you. I mustered up the courage and gave this letter to you, you don't have to answer it now… I'll wait for your answer.” Said the girl then walked away embarrassedly.
Drake couldn't hide his satisfaction, he smiled broadly and started jumping up and down with joy. This is very new and very amazing for him. He used to see girls giving love letters to Alex, but he never thought he would receive them either. He understands that people admire Alex because he is so cool, and he is also so perfect. All the excellent qualities belonged to Alex, and it made Drake look down on himself.
He used to stand next to someone who was shining so that he didn't recognize how much he was shining too.
