On the open-air stage, Victoria, dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, had already let her hair down, covering her energetic face to avoid the paparazzi and other annoying onlookers. After all, the song she was about to sing wasn’t something a Swedish princess should be performing.

As for Victoria’s earlier words, Duke didn’t dwell on them too much. After all, a young girl’s thoughts could change quickly. It was quite possible that within days of their vacation ending, she’d forget all about him. Besides, the choice of university for a crown princess wasn’t something she could decide on her own.
