The silence that followed was deafening that one could hear the sound the crickets were making far away.
"Impossible!" Empress Rose yelled out standing up, almost pushing the content on the table. "How dare you accuse my son of that? My son can never and will never be who you are referring to." she added in anger, directing it towards Storm.
"Fred is Edgardo." Storm repeated, not backing away from Empress Rose's angry glare. "I had a doubt at first on the night those assassins attacked me when I first came here that night and you killed one of them, the one I had let go. I could sense you close, your scent, but when I checked in your room you were there which made me think probably someone wanted to deceive me, so I give it to you, you are very good at hiding who you truly are." he added with a smirk. "But then again, what fully gave you away was when I and Edgardo fought back then in the cave and I noticed the mistake you made, just a single mistake from you, gave you out. That was when I knew I was fighting with the illusion you had created, do you want to deny that?" he asked, leaving Fred's back and going back to his seat, though he made no move to sit down. "Can you deny the evidence all pointing at you?"
"Stop accusing my brother of what he isn't. Fred wouldn't hurt a fly so stop hurting my brother with your stu.pid accusation." Morgan bellowed in anger.
"Tell him that again, he thinks just because he said it we would hurry up and believe him." Empress Rose chips in. "My son can never hurt anyone, none of them can." She announced with pride.
"That's the image he wanted you all to believe. He was the one who killed our father and I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who had killed your daughter, Reca, for reasons best known to him." Storm told Empress Rose. "And also you killed Rumi because you know she has figured out who you truly are. You cannot deceive me Fred." He added.
"Storm, are you sure of what you are saying? Are you sure of what you are accusing him of?" Phoenix asked softly. She doesn't want the situation of them finding out it was a lie and that he did that because he was hurt about Rumi's death, since she died at the hands of Edgardo.
Smiling at his mother, "Hundred percent sure mother. His calmness can't deceive me." he answered softly. "He is so good at it."
"Stop lying on my innocent son's head, Storm. I know you hate but you are hating on the wrong person, channel your hatred on me and leave my children out of your mouth." Empress Rose's dark eyes squinted as her jaw clenched.
"He killed Rumi?" Cando asked slowly, getting up from his seat. His veins in his neck almost popped out as his eyes were still on Storm who nodded his head.
"Why are you not saying anything to deny his allegations, Fred?" Morgan inquired. "Or are you guilty as charged?" He asked.
"Deny? What do you want me to say? Yes? When you know me too well. Do I look like someone who will kill my father or my own blood sister uh, so what do you want me to say, brother?" Fred said calmly. "I have always had our family at heart even when you are the only one who receives more attention, don't let someone come and try to lie against me." He told Morgan.
Storm rolled his eyes.
"He also plans to kill you after everything has settled down, Morgan, his eyes are on the throne also. Fred is dangerous and cunning, believe me." Storm uttered.
"So you would all believe him over me?" he didn't get to finish his statement when Cando bounced on him.
Cando couldn't control his anger so he did what he was best at, kicking and punching Fred and sitting on top of his stomach, in all of this, Fred didn't hit back, instead he was struggling to push Cando away from him but failed too, the man on him was too powerful.
"Stop, please stop. You are hurting me." Fred cried out. "Mother! Brother! Help me before he kills me."
Blood was coming from his bruised face.
"You are going to kill him!" Morgan yelled out and scrambled to his feet pushing Cando off his brother's body successfully and helped his brother to his feet and back him away from Cando. "He said he is not Edgardo. Don't force him to agree to what he is not."
"I didn't do anything, why are you hurting me?" Fred begins to cry profusely.
Cando wanted to attack Fred again but his brother held on tight to him by his shoulders.
"Easy." Kando whispered.
Storm's mouth hung open in bewilderment as he stared at a crying Fred. Surely he is very good at pretending. Clapping his hands as every eye turns to look at him.
"Wow, you are so good at pretending Fred, I will give you a top notch for that. Very good, if I didn't know the real you, I would have actually felt pity on you but this your facade doesn't get to my heart. My heart is just like yours." Storm grinned at him as he stopped clapping.
"I can now see why you wanted us to have dinner with you," Empress Rose said in anger. "So that you could belittle my son and paint him black." she added. "Morgan, Fred, let's get out of here, my room is calling onto me."
Empress Rose started walking away as Morgan, still holding Fred, wanted to follow their mother.
"Haven't you forgotten something?" Storm said which stopped the duo. Empress Rose and Morgan turned their heads slightly to look at him but Fred didn't.
"Storm, that's enough." Phoenix whispered at her son but Storm ignored her.
"Juno my love, come." Storm spoke, his eyes staring at the back of Fred's head.
Juno stood up from her seat and went to meet Storm. She wondered what he was doing.
Once she was arm reach, Storm pulled her closer to him and kissed her roughly on her lips.
She kissed him back slightly confused with where this was going and moaned loudly when she felt his hands on her thighs and lifted on to his hip, his other hand squeezing one of her bre.ast.
Her let go of her mouth and started nibbling her neck.
"Oh yes Storm, more." Kira moaned in ecstasy as she threw her head backwards, giving Storm more access. She has forgotten they were outside and in the view of everyone. Feeling Storm's hard on pressed against her pelvis making her moan louder than before.
Empress Rose hissed so loudly.
"Ignore them brother, I don't know what he hopes to gain with this show off. He is taunting me because my beloved Gwen is dead." Morgan told his brother. "Just Ignore him." he added and tried to resume walking but Fred didn't budge. "Come on." He could see that his brother was tense but didn't know why.
Fred grew more angrier as his dark Iris started changing into deep red ones.
"What is it Fred?" Morgan asked in concern but Fred didn't reply.
"That's enough." The voice that spoke wasn't Fred's own, it was in a multiple voice but Storm ignored him. "I said that's enough!" he yelled out and the ground from where he stood down to the place Storm and Kira stood crack up but Storm was fast to jump out of the way. Others moved away from the spot.
Morgan's eyes grew wide, heart beating faster as he slowly began to walk away from his brother who surprisingly didn't need his help to stand upright.
Empress Rose on the other hand, heart started pounding and she began breathing, heavy and fast.
Fred started laughing like a maniac, turning around to face them. His bleeding had stopped and his face was back to what it was. His laughter ceased when he saw the way Storm was holding onto Kira.
Glad to have gotten his attention, Storm gave Kira one last kiss and whisper. 'Later' which looks as if Fred heard it as his gaze hardened on him.
"I know that would definitely get a reaction from you. And I wasn't wrong." Storm was grinning from ear to ear.
"Stay away and get your filthy hands far away from her." Fred told him jaw clenched, his voice back to normal. "She is mine."
"And if I don't? I know you've been watching us, me, especially. You don't fool me anymore Edgardo and not to mention Juno has always been mine, she belongs to me now." Storm told him.
"Yes, I don't belong to you two faces, I belong to Storm and only him rules my heart." Kira chips in.
"You lie Juno. I have saved you countless times but what did I get in return for what I did? Nothing, absolutely nothing!" Fred yelled out at the last minute.
"What do you mean by 'saved you' stop lying Fred." Kira rolled her eyes.
"I was the one who brought you and Dean together, to save you from dying due to Rumi's attack on you. And when Storm whipped you, I was the one who had healed you, I saved you from dying. Or did you think it was the healer herbs that had kept you alive? If it weren't for me you would have died a long time ago but because of the love I have for you I did all of these things." Fred finally revealed.
Kira's mouth opens wide in shock.
"Don't listen to him my love," Storm said, kissing the top of Kira's head. "I'm sorry for what I did to you back then and if you want me to apologize to you everyday of our life I will surely do that." He hopes what Fred had said won't change Kira's heart towards him.
"I have always loved you Juno. I have always wanted you to be by my side but he came. I have eyes on you and have watched you but then, his useless mother came out of nowhere and brought him here. If I had gotten hold of him, he would have become a history to her. You saw him and then you wanted him so I had to get him out of the way and life and that was when I discovered Rumi's secret and used it against her and your adoptive mother didn't live to tell the tale. But then again, it brought you both closer and I decided to send him away from you. But before I could concentrate on you, Rumi had tricked you and with no other option I made her push you to Dean's hands. I have always been around you Juno but you are too blind to see me. The more you reject me, the more I want you but-" Fred got Interrupted.
"Enough of your diatribe, I have heard you and thank you for saving me but that won't make me change my mind towards you. I'm madly in love with Storm and no one, not even you, can change that. When I first saw him I had concluded that he will become my husband and there is no changing that. Instead of you letting go of me, you want to still fight for what is not yours." Kira told him.
"You don't get it, Juno, you have no choice in this and don't worry, Storm won't be alive for long." Fred reminded her.
"Please help my son, I think he is being possessed by Edgardo's soul. Do something will you," Empress Rose said to Storm as she started crying. She hurried up to meet Phoenix. "It's all your fault your dead son won't leave my family alone and rest in peace. What have I ever done to you and your two evil sons that they won't leave us alone. Please take your devil son's soul out of his body at once and return back my son." She cried, almost clawing on Phoenix's skin.
"You are wrong Rose, very wrong. Edgardo was truly dead. When he died, he died but he was reborn and you are the one who now gave birth to the devil not my mother. Edgardo didn't take over your son's body, he is Edgardo himself but this time around he was named Fred."
"You are lying." Empress Rose said not believing Storm one bit. Why can't the boy leave her and her son alone, why?
"I told you he wasn't Fred, did you believe me? No and he proved what I said was true, believe me or not it's none of my business." Storm told her then returned his gaze on Fred. "Creating the illusion of Edgardo shows you know your onion well. You made him bleed, you made his punch and fight real like he is fucking alive. You killed your sister, you killed out father, you kidnapped my mother and made it look as if Edgardo did, meanwhile, it was you. Your illusion, I mean, Edgardo told me to open my eyes and look before you choke him to dead, isn't it? If you can do all these things without anyone suspecting you then you must be powerful. Very powerful and must surely have a backup plan when you see things didn't go your way."
Fred chuckled darkly. "You're correct, very correct Storm. I am more powerful than you," he said and clapped his hands once and five huge paintings of Edgardo were seen flying out from his room towards them. It landed few meters away from him.
On top of the walls of the palace, the undead armies were seen on it. The gate to the palace was kicked open and the guards guarding it were all killed being led by Reca's daughter. They could see two dragon's hovering around them, not attacking yet.
"I always have a plan B. What do you think I have been drawing since? I couldn't make Edgardo attack anyone yet because I haven't finished my drawings and most of my memories were messed up and I couldn't remember how I had looked like when I was an adult until you came back here." Fred told them.
Right in front of them, the five paintings of Edgardo started coming to life, getting out of the tracing paper he had used in painting them.
"You are right when you said you are the master of the game Storm, but what you fail to realize is that a simple wind can change the direction of a game and I am the wind."
