" I won't. Instead, I'll ditch your dad for you" he smiled confidently then disengaged from her.
" Don't keep me waiting" he tells her trailing after his school mates then looked back to find her staring at him, waved at her while she responded with a flying kiss.
"Bye," she yelled then sighed. she was missing him already.
A beep sound had her staring at her phone to find a text message from Bianca then returned to the car to meet her.
Struggling with the tension of being the bad wife to a good one wasn't as easy as she thought as she had to tender an apology to most of Alvin's colleagues who weren't comfortable around her then swear in court not to do any damages to his properties or deals.
Dealing with the mafias wasn't easy either, they accepted her explanation as most of them wanted Alvin back as their middleman after all he has been doing it for a very long time.

" Mrs. Reagan, no one is at home" he informed then handed a piece of paper to her.
" Mrs. Kang asked me to give it to you" her face scrunched up in confusion then took it to check Its content.

" He didn't say. Mrs. Kang dropped it for you"
" I see. Thanks. Please open the gate" he nods clicking a button on his watch.
" Have a nice day" he bellowed as she smiled in appreciation gearing to reverse.
With a full-blown smile, Colton showed Alvin the record of his rising stock market.
" She kept to her words. I can't believe it's all over" Alvin hummed twirling the ring in his hands.
" What do you think happened to Cynthia? Do you think she killed her? Colt asked in doubt which had Alvin recalling the day she shot David without delay and creaked.
He didn't know after all she saved him that day and David survived it.
" Anything is possible. She deserves it for trying to hurt my family for some bizarre affection. They could have died and I wouldn't have suspected a thing. Imagine living with their killer? I'm sure I wouldn't survive it anyway. I was depressed as it is" Colt snickered with eyes darting to the wedding ring in his hands.

" I'm scared actually. I know we are cool and she loves me and all what if she says no? I just want to remarry her you know renew our vows" Colt sighed staring at the wedding ring in his fingers and scoffed.
" You didn't need her permission to wear that. I think she'll love to. I can't believe you're acting like a lovesick puppy already" he stated going for the door but Alvin was too busy thinking about Kate's reaction to his proposal to care about his comments.
" Well, you'll need all the confidence cos today is the day. Everyone will be there. Don't disappoint them" Alvin's eyes narrowed then swerved around to check the time stunned.
" Omg. It is almost time" he exclaimed grabbing his cufflinks and suit jacket then heard his phone buzz.
" Hello, honey! He said sweetly to the phone while wedging it with his head while he fixed his cufflinks.
" I received a message from your mom which has me worried. Are you okay?
" I'm fine sweetie. Where are you at the moment? He asked with beaming eyes which had Colt narrowing his eyes at him.
" I'm on my way to the designated venue and I'm confused. Don't tell me you're not done there? He looked at the ticking wall clock.
" Almost, I'm sure my mom means no harm. I'll see you soon"
" Easy for you to say cos you're at work. I didn't get the chance to go to work" he chuckled having finished fixing his cufflinks then placed the phone on the right ear.
" That's Bianca for you. Here's a hint. Dress sexy. It'll help with the tension unless you're going shopping. You do know she's a shopaholic right? She hit the gear with her hand resting on her jaw.
" I can imagine. Thanks for the tips. I love you"
" I love you Kate" he hummed as he noticed she had hung up and met a smirking Colton.
" Is the plan still on?
" Go get Quinn. I don't want excuses from her" he ordered reapplying lotions then brushed his hair.
" I'm good to go. I think I need a haircut" Colton chuckled stepping in to fix his tie.

Heeding Alvin's advice, Kate returned to her resort to change.

And she was going to impress her thus she put on a black silk dress with little skin. Applied lip gloss with high stilettos and left the room but returned to put on pieces of jewelry.
Alvin wasn't that difficult to please' she grumbled closing the door with her leg sauntering out of the building.

After almost an hour's drive, she stopped in front of a five-star restaurant then drove in.
The manager led her into a private box where the Reagans were dining.
Stunned and moved, she walked towards them to find her mother and brother seated amongst them which had her rooted in her step.

" I'm so happy to know you found your way home. My miracle baby' she cooed pulling her into a hug as Kate sniffled wrapping her arms around her cos she was two heads taller all thanks to the heels.
" I'm sorry Mom. I'm sorry I left. I didn't want you to see me like that but I'm fine now all thanks to Alvin. And I haven't had an attack for days now" she muttered as Debra sniffled holding her tightly.
" Sorry to ruin the mother and daughter reunion but we have to eat unless the food will get cold and soggy" Bianca announced as they giggled nodding in agreement.
" Let's eat. We'll talk later" she stated drawing out a chair for her mother then pecked her while Louis rolled his eyes at her childishness.
