In the Immortal Island known as the Spiritual Willow Dojo, although there were no Spirit Elephants or other Exotic Beasts raised, there was a small kingdom with tens of thousands of people living within. Although it was miniature, the island nation named "Willow Immortal Country" had all the amenities of the Mortal World.
There were peasant villages as well as bustling Capital Cities where the Nobles lived, and there were merchants traveling everywhere. It could be said to have everything one needed for life.
There were some instances of corruption and dirtiness, as seen in the Mortal World, but because a powerful fairy ruled over them, it was much cleaner than the Mortal World.
The common people lived in peace and happiness, truly like living in a Paradise.
Tao Qian learned from the thoughts left in his eyes by the Nursing Woman Bird Demon that, before the catastrophe happened, many people from the Longevity Heavenly Dynasty had been inquiring about the existence of "Willow Immortal Country," all to join and live a carefree life there.
Unfortunately, it all changed that night.
The Willow Immortal, having made a mistake in her Cultivation, mutated and fell into decline, instantly revealing her true form as a gigantic willow tree.
But by then, she was no longer the Willow Immortal; she had become a real Willow Demon.
Overnight, the roots on the island spread wildly, the vines surged chaotically, and before long, hundreds of thousands were drained to skeletons. When the Immortals arrived to suppress her, all they saw were dark as lacquer, tough rough roots, beneath which were mountains of white skeletons and forests of hanging bones.
Following the "Willow Immortal," Tao Qian soon encountered another Immortal of the Cavernous Mystery Realm, called Lady Shi.
She turned herself and the remaining lives on the Island into stone, eventually melding into a Demon Stone that sucked the lifeblood of everything, turning the surrounding sea into a dead zone before the suppressing Immortals could arrive.
Then there was a Sword Cultivator Immortal, whose descent into demonization was even more horrifying. He released a thousand Demon Swords, cutting through heaven and earth, slaughtering all life around to feed his corrupted sword cultivation.
Tao Qian, who was completely immune to the mutative contamination, watched without pause the downfall of five Absolute Immortals.
Finally, a familiar scene appeared.
It was the Ultimate Happiness Daoist School of Alcohol and Meat Uncle Li Changle!
His symptoms were clearly much less severe than the others.
However, the scene displayed in Tao Qian's eyes was still incredibly shocking.
There, in the midst of the Wine Pool Meat Forest, filled with pavilions and palaces at the Immortal Island's center, stood a tall mountain.
Atop the mountain grew a very bizarre fruit tree, laden with fruits resembling little people lying back with their bellies exposed and their mouths stretched in laughter—those were the Ultimate Happiness Extending Life Fruits.
Presumably, the tree would be called the Ultimate Happiness Tree.
Beneath the tree lay a Daoist.
If not Li Changle, then who?
But at this moment in Tao Qian's eyes, Li Changle alternated between looking like a person and a large, putrid fish surrounded by a stench-filled cloud, multicolored and rotting.
At the foot of the mountain, in the Wine Pool Meat Forest, were many from the Mortal World who had indulged in pleasure, losing themselves.
Quite a few who were completely muddled climbed in madness toward the Ultimate Happiness Mountain.
They wished to pick and eat the fruit, but they never reached the fruit; instead, they died abruptly, drunk upon the tree.
Then, with a flicker of dim light, they turned into new fruits and hung from the tree.
Beneath the tree, the rotting big fish thrashed its tail, and with a "thud," struck the Ultimate Happiness Tree. Then, nearly fifteen fruits fell with a tittering laugh, precisely into the pus and saliva-secreting gaping maws on Li Changle's decaying body.
Whenever a fruit entered his mouth, Li Changle would find some relief and no longer emit painful and mournful screams.
