The question was, will she?
Will she come to my room and let me have my way with her. I know that it is wrong for me to do that but I needed to make her pregnant as soon as possible.
Especially since she was leaving and I want to make her pregnant. If there should be anybody on the throne after me, it should be a child who I want there. I made a big mess of things and I did t know how to correct it.
You think that you are correcting it by making new mistakes, mistakes she will never forgive you for?
I shut down that thought as I wanted to sit up so I could reach for a drink beside of my bed but my door opened. I leaned back to see who would come through and it was my beautiful wife who wore a modest night cloth and a shawl to make it more modest for long walks.
I watched as she closed the door behind her and removed the shawl and then she started undressing.
I wanted her to stop but I didn’t say a word. If I was a stronger man. I would beg for her forgiveness instead.
She approached me on the bed when she was without a stitch on and she laid down beside me with her eyes closed.
I kissed her, fondled her although she responded to the kiss but other than that, she didn’t accept or reject my thoughts. I thought that everything was right. I plied her legs opened and she allowed. I thrust in her and didn’t stop until I emptied myself into her. I reached her face to kiss her only to feel tears there.
“Gwenn.” I said softly. She opened her eyes for me to see and what I saw made me withdraw from her quickly.
She looked broken, like I had broken her. Did she let me do that because it was her duty?
“Gwenn, did I rape you?” I asked her.
She shook her head. “Just doing what I am supposed to do.” She gave a fake laugh. “I am sorry for the tears, next time will be better. I need to go to the Settlement tomorrow, I don’t know when I will return.”
“Do what you want to do.” I responded to her with a harsh tone, throwing my hurt and confusion on her. She didn’t do anything but what was expected of her, I knew this before I did anything but I just used her duty to rape her.
It is not her duty though, I lied to her and in a roundabout way, I lied to rape her. I raped Gwenn.
When the door slammed shut, I realized the way I talked to her. Oh bod, the mess I keep putting myself keep expanding.

Gwenn
I was confused, I hurt both inwards and outwards. I thought he would at the very least try not hurt my feelings even if he had to hurt me. He did that and he hit right, just when I was feeling vulnerable.
I got to my room and sat on my bed, tears ran down my face as I wondered about where would I go from here? I had to leave the Palace, for at least a week. I cannot see his face soon and hopefully by the time I am back, I would be done with building my walls against him, walls which cannot be penetrated, maybe then I would be done trying to convince myself that something good was going to come out of our relationship. Like my husband will get over his unaccustomed hate for me and realize that we have to stick together. Maybe then I will realize that I have failed to do what I have always wanted in the long run.
Making sure that my marriage will not be like my parents own.

The next morning, I was up before anybody and I left my room, not trusting my eyesight because it made a part of the room to be glowing Gold, I could not trust any part of me until I realize who that queen is, have enough information on her to know that she is not the villain and then know more about this forbidden world.
“My queen are you sure that you want to leave?” Soren said beside me, making me jump so high while throwing a knife at him. Of course he disappeared before the knife met his mark.
“Why do you keep scaring me like that?” I asked him angrily only for me to see him smile. He loved doing this, I would hit him for this if I didn’t like his smile. It was one of those rare times where his smile was not menacing and just plain joy.
“It is to help your reaction to shock and other than that, I like seeing you react…” He paused in his words and bowed his head.
“What?” I asked, I looked behind me to see Arius there.
“I came to apologize before your journey starts only to see you close to your room with him, did you go to him yesterday after what we did?” He demanded angrily.
I licked my lips slowly as I replied Arius question, I was not going to bare myself up to him, not anymore. “Yes, he’s offering me comfort and he makes me feel okay and it was not what we did but rather what you did.”
Arius mouth dropped open as he stared at Sorens who was looking between me and my husband and probably wondering how did he get stuck in the middle of our family crisis?
“Well, I guess my visit this morning was not needed.” Arius said after clearing his throat and looking at Sorens who acted like Arius was not staring at him.
“Have a nice visit Gwenn.” He added.
“Have a nice life Arius.” I replied, Arius looked at me weirdly as I said my goodbye to him, sure, I will be back but yesterday signified his loss of me, he just didn’t know it yet.
He left and when he had gone far, Sorens turned me to face him. “What happened?”
“Something that should be kept between me and my husband.” I replied and he looked at me with raised eyebrow.
“Why did you make the king think I slept with you or something along those lines?” Sorens asked.
“Because it is better if the hate is on both sides, I am not going to have my happy ending so at least one of us should, he should have that with his quaint family.” I replied with my voice silent.
“The king and Faye are not talking, My queen. Rumors are he wanted her to get rid of the child.” Soren started but I shook my head. I didn’t want anything to shake my resolve of whatever this was between me and Arius being over.
“It doesn’t change the fact that he liked her enough to be with her for months while me and him never had that. I might have been the one who got married to him first but he belongs to Faye and I am just the intruder. Let’s go.” I added.
“I am sure that the people who came were already waiting for us.” I gave Sorens a sad smile. Sorens instead hugged me.
“Sorens?” My voice showed the confusion I felt as his sudden action.
“You actually need the comfort so just stay silent for a while as I give it to you.” He relied and I listened to him. I kept quiet as he hugged me and after sometime, he let me go and picked my hand and led me away from my room. I don’t know what the new settlement will bring but I hope it will give me the answers I seek.
And help me find happiness in my new world but it was certain and clear that I was not going to get the happiness in the Palace.
