Chapter 44
I quickened my pace and turned slightly. I noticed his shadow.
Confirm! A man is following me!
I walked fast again. I noticed that no one was following me so I took a deep breath. I looked around first to make sure no one was following me.
I walked again but I kept my eyes around. I had already taken a step and noticed that I still had not heard any footsteps following me before. I stopped again to look around.
I noticed no one else besides and behind me. The place was quiet, the dog was no longer barking, and I could only hear the breeze and the chirping of crickets.
"Okay, relax Pershey, relax," I said to myself then blew air. I hugged myself again in the cold.
It's midnight, I'm still walking. I just need to hurry but my feet seem to be holding me back.
My chest throbbed again, almost breaking the arteries of my heart when the dog barked again.
I turned away in shock. I spread my eyes to see if anyone else was there.
I didn't notice anything so I just ignored the dog's barking when I felt the presence of other people again.
My body wants to leave where I stand. Fear gripped me as I looked around.
I walked again and the wind blew me away.
I accelerated my walk out but I still felt that he was following me. I almost tripped and tripped as I walked so fast that he couldn't catch up with me.
"Wait, Miss," he called so I stopped. Fear almost engulfed me.
I noticed him approaching me. I can't hardly move even if I want to.

I turned to walk again when he called me again and whispered which made my chest tremble.
I felt something wrong with him!
I didn’t look back at him and kept walking. I don't know but it seems like it's still a long way and I'll have to walk a long way before I can get out of this alley. It looks like I went through the wrong place.
But, wait! Why is he here? Is he following me? How did he get here without me seeing? Oh- did he see me pee? Is he watching me?
Is he a bad guy? Is he going to rape or kidnap me that's why he's following me?
"Talk to me, beautiful young lady," he said, raising my feathers.
He's fucking out of his mind!
What's wrong with that man? Why is he following me? Damn! He's fucking out of his mind so he should go home and I leave here.
Maybe he's planning something bad on me!
I stopped for a moment and noticed he stopped as well. My heart beats -dug dug dug. I'm feeling nervous and scared of him. Maybe it's because he's planning something bad for me so he follows me one after another.
I need to walk faster!
I walked fast but I felt and noticed that he was following me. I was close to the door when I stopped again.
I closed my eyes tightly then said, "Don't follow me," then I breathed softly.
I heard his footsteps approaching me so my heart beat faster.
He was getting closer and closer to me and my heart was beating faster.
"Can I know your name?" tender but dreadful he asked.
"I-I don't have a n-name," I replied. I rubbed my arms to lessen my fear but my nervousness intensified even more.
"Let's just dance, Miss without a name," he said and I felt his hand on my shoulder. I immediately removed it and almost throw it and walked away but he still followed me.
I started walking and then said, "Stay away from me!"
I heard no answer or his footsteps approaching me so I stopped walking. I also looked around.
I sighed. He's gone. He left maybe so I thought of walking again when he suddenly appeared in front of me. My heart as well as my intestines and muscles almost jumped in shock.
I backed away as he approached me. He smiled sweetly but scary.
I think ... he's going to rape or kidnap me.
Oh my! Help! Help your Señorita, Leighden, Driver Gong!
"Back off," I said while stepping backward. I can't cry.
He kept stepping closer to me so I kept stepping back as well.
I was far away from Leighden's Bar and it was a bit secluded down the alley so I knew they weren't noticing me.
“Stay away from me!
I backed away and backed away as he moved further and further ahead of me.
"H-help," I said weakly. I was unable to shout due to fear of him. "Help."
I shook my head with full of fear and doubt. I was caught in the wall of a house while stepping backward.

"Come with me first. I'll take you home," he said softly and softly but tremblingly.
"N-no," I shuddered as I said that. "B-back off," I said.
He stopped so I stopped too and looked around with no one. I looked at him again. I was shaken again when he grinned like a demon.
"D-don't come any closer," I commanded tremblingly as I retreated. I no longer know where I have ever been.
He smirked as he stared me down at my body. He was approaching me so I ran but I tripped over a rock. The heels of my sandals were broken and I crashed into the road. My forehead hit the ground and I know it's bleeding a little.
I close my eyes as my face hits the road. I was about to stand up when I felt his hand crawling on my thigh so I kicked him.
I immediately got up and sat down on the road while sitting backwards.
He approached me and pulled my leg. I struggled and kicked him to release me.
"N-no! H-help me! Leighden, help me!" I shouted.
He laughed out loud. I tried to get away from him but he clung tightly to my leg. I was always kicking but nothing was happening either.
I felt a hot liquid slowly falling down on my face while looking at him.
"L-let me go," I cried pleadingly. The smirk disappeared from his lips and the tight grip on my leg was removed.
I stopped crying then stepped back and stood up. I was leaning against the wall as I was stepping away when he suddenly ran towards me so I shouted.
He pulled my dress and tore the top of it. I can almost see the bra I'm wearing. I tried to lift it so that he could not see my chest.
I backed away again and ran away but before I could do that, he pulled me to my clothes. The lower part of my dress was torn at the thigh.
"Mmm," he said eagerly as he continued to approach.
My tears flowed again and I shouted, "Help !!"
"Shhh, no one can hear you, beautiful young lady of my night," he said fearfully. I stepped back again as I looked at him. Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked at him.
"P-please, d-don't," I scolded but he ran to grab me. I screamed.
His hand gripped my hands tightly as they glued to the wall.
I saw his excited eyes full of lust for me.
My tears kept flowing. I tried to kick him but he punched me in the stomach with his knee so I fainted and almost slipped against the wall.
He tried to build me up and I shouted as best I could. "H-help me!"
He punched my stomach again with his right hand which weakened me even more. My body softened. I couldn’t stand up properly and get away from him.
I could feel his lips caressing my neck. I tried to push my head against him so he stopped.
My eyes are closing in on the weakness and pain in my stomach. I was running out of air and my intestines seemed to be being pulled up. I can not breathe.
"H-help," I moaned before he applied his lip to my neck again. I can't even move. I'm fainting.
Is this the end of my life? Is this the end of everything? Is this the end of my story? Is this my death?
I closed my eyes and didn't realize what he did next. I just heard him tear my clothes but even before he could remove my clothes, I noticed that he suddenly sprang away from me. Because of that, my body slipped. My body was tender but I forced myself to look again at the man who had almost raped me.
I saw a man punching his face. He was consistent in punching the man. That man was turned away so I could not see who he was. My vision is also blurred so I can't see him very well.
I lost sight of them. I turned sluggishly. A woman is approaching me.
My vision was blurred but I tried to say her name, "L-leighden."
I can not move. I want to stand up but my bones are soft. I stared at Draek.
"Pershey, oh my, I'm so sorry," she said as she caressed my face. I could hardly see her. I can't breathe either.
Before I fainted, I even heard Draek shout as he approached the two men "Neil!"
