I walked slowly to find out what the women in line were doing.
Almost all of them, perfect looks. I guess ... they will join the Pageant. What about me? What's my decision AGAIN? Do I need to join or I must quit?
"You don't have to line up anymore, Pershey," I heard someone say. I turned around to see who was speaking.
Oh, she is. She's my only cousin, guess who?
"What do you mean?" I asked. She smiled as she approached me. If Leighden was just here, I might have just watched them as they talked. Gladly, Leighden is not here. She just took something from her locker, not sure. She had left earlier and said she would just take something from the locker. She’s a bit late, seriously.
I was curious in the way she looked at me. It's like ... something has changed in the way she looks at me. Only now have I noticed that she is no longer rude to me. She is no longer always angry. She became nice to me lately.
"I've already registered you. 50 contestants, including you, Pershey," she said.
Why did she really want me to join the Pageant? Is she planning anything on the day of the Pageant?
She was about to leave when she stopped. She looked at me again and handed me a paper bag. I looked at what was in the paper bag. Oh, clothes ... for what? Do I need to change my uniform?
"For what?" I asked.
"Pershey," she calls to me in a soft tone. She's a wild tiger before but now ... what the heck? What did she eat to be nice to me? "... you're pretty now," she smiled. I, on the other hand, was wondering what's entering her mind right now. I really couldn’t understand why she suddenly became so kind to me. "... but be wise," she added then forced a smile. It was a bit like I was annoyed by her smile. That's smile is not good for me. Seems like she's planning something.
She left but she stopped, far away from me. She barely turned around and looked at me, then she walked away.
I was left in the middle of the GYM with 49 contestants. They are all talking to each other while me ... here ... out of space. No one to talk to.
Instead of walking away, I preferred to sit. I was about to sit in the empty seat when a woman quickly sat down.
She was looking at me, staring intently. She's not smiling. She just looks straight at me.
What's wrong with her? Why is she like that when she looks at me? It was like the depth of her thoughts the way she looked at me. She seems to be mad at me even when she doesn’t speak.
She was already sitting in the vacant seat that I should be sitting in. There was another vacant seat next to her. I was about to sit there when she put her bag on the chair.
I sighed.
What's wrong with this girl? Why does she seem unwilling to sit me down? Why does she seem unwilling to let me use the chair? Doesn't she know me? Ahhh; I get it. I changed, right? Maybe what she knew was that I wasn’t Pershey.
Is that the effects of using make-up? So maybe many use make-up because it changes their lives.
Last vacant seat, behind her. Those chairs are for contestants. Some left and some sat while waiting for the announcement.
That last vacant seat is for me. I'm tired of standing waiting for Leighden. I never used to wait like this, this way. I uses to sit and relax, used to spend my times reading books, used of being Señorita/ Princess. I never used to wait.
Now, it's my turn to sit and relax. I need to refresh my mind again because this woman is disturbing my mind. I've been thinking a lot and then added what she's doing now.
I went behind her where the bench was. She still looks focused on me. Before I sat down, before I could think of sitting down, I looked at her. She's staring at me, her deadly looks. Instead of teasing her, I chose to smile but unfortunately ... she didn't smile. What the heck.
I thought about sitting down when another woman grabbed the bench where I was supposed to sit.
She's smiling but she's not looking at me but at the woman behind me.
I wondered what they were doing. Are they out of their fucking mind?
I'm so pissed of them! I want to slap them both so they know who I am.
I deeply sighed before looking at them. One behind me, one in front of me, in short, I was in the middle of them. Is this a battle? Right away?
I first looked at the woman behind me sitting in the chair I should have been sitting in.
She was just staring at me. I don't know what's entering her mind right now. Is she crazy? She knew I was going to sit down, she even kidnapped me.
I looked back at the woman in front of me. She was staring at me just like the woman behind me.
I don’t want a fight today and I’m not fighting. I'm just leaving and resting in the library to refresh my mind. I need some peace of mind, some rest.
I walked away. I noticed that they are following me so I stopped. What madness are they doing? Why do they even have to follow me? What? Are they deeply angry with me? What is my fault with them? Oh my! I am over thinking now!
I walked again but I noticed that they were still following me. I stopped for a moment to speak. "Stop following me, girls."
As I was about to take a step, someone stopped me. She clung tightly to my arm.
These girls making me annoyed. They are annoying! They're getting into my nerves! Damn it! Bitches!
She removed her hand from the tight grip on my arm. I was grabbed by my arm. Damn it hurts!
They blocked my path, as they were two. I don’t know them so why are they like that to me?
Disgusting. I still thought, this is a good day. It wasn't a good day but an annoying day because of the two of them.
Actually, I want to hit them but I'm still holding back. I'm not a trouble-maker. I don't want a fight, I don't want trouble, I will ruin my beautiful and clean name.
I want to talk but I won’t waste my saliva on them. Are they lucky? Huh? Will I waste saliva for them? No! Hell no! But ... when I can't control myself anymore, I'll give them my sweetest words.
"Will you join?" she asked, girl at the right side. I nodded in response. She will just ask why they still need to follow me and why do they need to act that way? I thought then ... they would fight me.
I was about to smile when our eyes met and she burst out laughing accompanied by soft and slow applause.
Crazy woman!
I don't want to ask what's funny. I'm lazy to speak or to say a words for them. I don't know them and I'm not interested of knowing them either.
"You're not going to win," said another woman, left side. I did not speak. For what? I said, I'm lazy and I'm still holding back.
"Do you think, Pershey ..."
I frowned as she mentioned my name. The girl on the right side, she spoke.
"... will you win? Maybe you won't be in the runner up," she added while laughing softly. I just stared at her. I was confused, seriously. I don't know them. I don't know why they are saying those nonsense words to me, in front of me.
"And if you join for your dream man ..."
I looked at another woman on the left. Oh my dear mind! They're both crazy!
And ... she said ... 'dream man?' Wait, is she referring to Neil? Ahh, they know me and Neil. Of course, they really knew Neil. Neil is a famous basketball player. He's a playboy, he's famous.
"... for your dream man, Pershey? Guess who?"
I just stared at her as she spoke. I won't say any word. They are not the ones to ruin my beautiful day. I don't want to be in trouble.
"What did Neil say?" she asked. I know inside her, she's laughing. The woman on the right laughed.
"I won't like you," the woman on the right replied with laughter.
"I won't like you." Neil's line came back to my mind again. I thought back to all the things he said on the rooftop, in front of the students. Everything that happened that day came back to my mind when this naughty woman repeated the line Neil had told me.
I took a deep breath first. I still haven't spoken. I just stared at them while they laughed.
They are crazy, Pershey. The insane should not be beaten. The insane, should not be scattered, should be in the mental, not here.
"You don't know me, right?" she asked, girl at the right side. I didn't speak. It's up to her whether she speaks or asks questions. “... I am Sansa Samson,” she said.

Sansa Samson?
Who is she? Her surname was same as Neil's surname? Are they siblings?
"... oh, Pershey. Are you surprised?" she asked. I don't care whoever she is. I don't care about her and even she's from the 'Samson' family.
"What about me? Do you know me?"
I gasped. It was tiring to listen to what they were saying so I just turned around but they grabbed my arm again so I stopped.
I remained turned away. I tightly closed my eyes, trying to calm myself. I immediately opened my eyes when those lines came back in my mind.
They tightened the grip on my arm even more.
Now it's my turn. "Get your hands off me," I said, trying to calm myself. Hold on as long as you can.
Like I said, they did remove the tight grip on my arm. After that, I turned around to look at them.
These bitches in front of me are making me out of my mood. They are bees. I hate bees! I hate flies! They are bitch flies I've ever seen.
"Why are you like that when you look?" Sansa asked. Now, I know her name. Nice and pretty name but not her habit. The name is good, the habit is bad. Such an ugly.
